I think his reads and positions are sensible and the manner with which he's interpreting posts doesn't seem tainted by knowledge that the target is town. It seems like he's picking a lot of fights that are reasonably likely to go poorly for him, where there was lots of low-hanging fruit elsewhere.

i do agree he's "sensible". that's part of the problem. he's only taking a stand on points he can defend logically, like going after contradictions with Mulch and staging a test Mulch didn't give the right answer to. he's been changing course too quickly, and while that isn't scummy in and of itself, that he's directed his attention away from Mulch to me, and then Cabd, gives me the feeling he's just looking for a position he's able to properly defend.

and i don't know if i agree about low-hanging fruit. pushing players who haven't posted in such early game (at the time) isn't really a good look. i think i remember your answer to who the low-hanging fruit were being those non or minor-posters, correct me if i'm wrong.

i've never been mislynched. my scumplay is undeniably weak. my choosing scum would surprise anyone who knew this. it would be like giving this game to me to lose it for my team.
i actually really enjoy being scum, though.
but, most of my posts on the subject were non-serious. i would hate to actually be confirmed town. being able to obvtown and always win against the mislynch is, essentially, my only skill to be proud of in mafia. losing that just makes me subpar town.

I'm very skeptical of this post. Your iso up to this point looks entirely neutral to me and I cannot imagine what Transcend is supposed to be townreading you off of at this point, if I'm reading this correctly that you think he should be townreading you or at least not-scumreading you based on those posts. it's the read on me and the read on Mulch. call it a BoP joke. after misreading me in a recent game i would expect Transcend to put a little more care into his read on both of us. the "off town" consideration was accounting for Transcend being stubborn and unhelpful as town in some cases.
i was not convinced of Transcend scum until his Mulch case and a few other select posts i quoted earlier.

my one game of experience with town Mulch was him auto-townreading his friend from MU (was scum) and hypertunneling a different scum that Mulch caught with said MU friend, before they both replaced due to yet another scum complaining to the mod about their spamming.

i'm a little disappointed my question in 1860 wasn't answered.
in 1321, Kagami said they had me confident town, but has gotten more waffly now. i don't really see why they feel this way or evidence of trying to correct it, and it's just vague.
yes, the part that stood out to me is the read involving Chara, surprising no one.

1954 also needs an explanation of what Kagami means. is it PoE?

this game feels like one which can be solved by PoE, by the way. i have a lot of good townreads, and it's my preferred method of sorting anyway.

it's just the way they've presented themself today. if Ginngie is attempting to get all the way to a LyLo win on AtE as scum, i don't know how i feel about them as a scum player.
before this i was townreading how their thoughts were so similar to mine at the same time i had them, and their general demeanour just appeared very honest to me.
