Congrats to all the winners, but I did find one thing kind of weird about this year which was Hectic winning Rising Star. Not because Hectic *isn't* a deserving winner of the award, to be clear, but it just feels sort of off to me for someone to get both Don Corleone and Rising Star. DC feels to me like almost a more ~premiere~ award and sort of unnecessary for someone to receive a general "you played well but not quite top tier" alongside "you were literally the best individual scumplayer on site", especially when it means that someone else who also had a great year missed out on being honoured.

I think rising star needs to be retired. The criteria is way too confusing. I was nominated in 2019 when I had a 2008 join date. And it was like "well you barely played any in 2017-2018.". But also I didn't have a good winrate in 2019, people just liked me. Which some people think is a criteria and some don't.

It's very unclear to me how the award works

If there's any year I feel safe criticizing the award.. hectic won like 7 awards I think he will be ok I hope.

Interesting. I think it has a good function but I also see what you are saying in that perhaps it should be fleshed out a bit more.

People who have won multiple banners might receive an update to their banners sometime down the line they might not.

although definitely not with as many as Hectic

This is true, I used some as reference when making the 2 rotating banners this year! I need to find a better program for it tho, the past ones had a cool fade effect I did not have access to.

I still think they look awesome tho! =D
