Untrod Tripod killed a hobgoblin and a rat with his knife without needing to resort to poison darts, which have a chance to break when thrown even though they can be recovered. One hobgoblin didn't even wake up and was backstabbed.
Here is a hobgoblin and a gecko at the same time, and it's dangerous enough to need to throw darts. The first two missed, and the third inflicted poison. Now that the enemy is poisoned, Untrod Tripod is going to walk back away while the poison does its work. Best case scenario, the hobgoblin does no more damage before dying of poison, and then the gecko can be fought one on one.



We picked up two potions in empty rooms that we can drink if things start to seem desperate. It's risky because they could be poisonous.

Okay, so let's do a reread from pg 1 since starting at page 6 of the game just seems lazy and I have the time.

The earlywagon on Sirius seems NAI entirely as it happened far too quickly to mean anything. I think the staying power of the votes might say something though. The Hectic intro was obviously a prewrite and the gimmick in the first few posts is to establish it. I'm not putting weight into them and will be disregarding the gimmick for the most part, as I have been when reading their posts.

Overall the xof votes are meh but I don't like Ydrass' vote. It feels just kind of shoehorned into the thread. No mention of the other votes on xof like Hectic had, no thoughts to the other wagon that was there, just a basically blank vote hopping onto a trend and then asking to be ignored. Like I get that the sig not being active is noteworthy and I appreciate them pointing out who they are (I missed the alt thing in the OP and was confused at first as to why there were alts at all) but it feels wrong.

Oh dear lord I'd actually not read Ydrasse/Hectic doing whatever it was they did with their alt storytelling interactions on pg 2 and I guess I actually owe Reck an apology. I still have my worries about him but yeah, I can see why the alt thing rubbed him the wrong way. Literally didn't read that and only saw the more toned down Hectic posts which was why I was so dismissive there. That said pg 3 Hectic is towny and I think he has a good handle on the earlygame here. Switching abruptly from the blatant altposting to the actual game content posts is +town and I think it says a lot. Scum Hectic could easily have kept up the games and not said anything helpful there.

Adorable/DV questions make Adorable look bad but as I said I think that's more because of their style than anything else and thus I don't think Adorable looks that bad for it.
DV, why was this the vote you asked about at this point in the game when there were like 9 votes floating around?

Like in Backrooms they were explaining how mafia worked to people who clearly know that and they were town so maybe it's not some legs to it but I'm pretty sure it's literally just a personality/playstyle thing. I know I'm questioned later on my wording in response to my response to this response, but what I meant by Reck using this to tunnel them, as I believe I put it, is that if Reck sticks to the rage or commentary about this slot and thefact that Alts shouldn't be in this game and gimmicks are dumb rather than providing content I think that is scum indicative and a way to look busy without actually contributing. I haven't read what they've said after that response but I'm hoping they're *doing things* because otherwise this could indicate scum!Reck. I hope that makes things clearer here.

Gotta say the multiposting thing is going to kill me. It just feels like noise for the sake of noise and my eyes kinda glaze over as I read it. I also can't keep track of which is which, and who they're supposed to be underneath the alt, which is making that slot so much harder to read.(I also don't remember if it was just one of the public alts hyperposting or both, so that's a bad sign)
I am liking DV so far. The questions do feel like they're coming from a genuine place. I guess the term is solving? But it just feels like good reaction poking and I'm here for it.

i know nothing about adorable. i've never seen them before. and meta is trash anyway. i voted adorable bc of their exchange with DV, which i already said. that's not "strange". that's a straight up lie. adorable claimed to vote on nothing just pure RVS... then upon being questioned explained they did ACTUALLY vote for a reason... and then upon being pushed further by DV, completely ignored DV and jumped onto other things. that's scummy. idgaf about their meta.

Adorable did a contradiction in RVS and followed it up with a flimsy reason based on their personal abilities and expectations within the game. I think that's fine tbh. I didn't read malice or intention to lie within the stream of posting. Is this a case of LAL? Because that's super weak, especially at such an early point in the game.

Was this Hopkirk's meta read on Reck? I have had bad experience on meta reads because the players who town read a player for meta turned out to be scum in the end.

Oh, so part of my reasoning for townreading Puff earlier is because if she had a scumteam as well as Team Mafia teammates, I'd expect some level of coaching to be happening behind the scenes. And if that's the case, I don't see them letting her enter with a "early townreads are suspicious, how can you even have a townread so early" theory line of attack which is obviously flawed, and could easily attract attention/suspicion.
I asked her how much she'd conversed with her team though and apparently she only did after the fact. Still think there's validity in it though, because her team or scumteam would probably proactively try and help her out considering the occasion and all.
