The platoon quickly falls into disarray. Arguments grew, grudges formed, and hatred dominated. All the while, three witty lunatics sat at the back, smiling. Everything was going according to plan.

Finally, in a moment of silence, Trumpeter ThinkBig said with exasperation 'Okay, how about we take out Lycanfire. I wouldn't trust him sleeping in my tent for one second.' Everybody slowly looked at ThinkBig, and then slowly started nodding their heads. Closing in on Lieutenant Lycanfire was easy, and the fear in his eyes was obvious. Master Sergeant MagnaofIllusion took one arm, and Vice Admiral ZZZX took the other. Mechanic momo cautiously looked up to ThinkBig, before ThinkBig handed him the only functioning pistol they had left, and nodded. Aiming it at Lycanfire's terrified face, the hammer dropped.

Pilfering Lycanfire's corpse found nothing suspicious, and nothing out of the ordinary. All they could find was an old styled quill, and an unfinished diary written home. After realizing the weight of their misdeeds, only too late realizing he wasn't lying in his death throes, everybody decided to go to sleep and mull it over another night.

Everybody crawls out of their foxholes on the abandoned trenches late, and everybody quickly realizes why. Boonskiies is the first one to rush to Trumpeter ThinkBig's foxhole turned grave, where everybody finds ThinkBig two bullets clean through his heart and leg. Everybody is surprised, but not quite so shocked after experiencing the war.

The crew sits around the corpse, silently eating their leftover breakfast rations. ThinkBig's and Lycanfire's remain unopened out of respect, but that might tip as the days go on. This environment doesn't leave much space for common courtesy.

Finally deciding to properly analyze ThinkBig's remains, they find a comb for keeping his beard in check, and a functioning walkie talkie. Pressing the start communication button causes an echo noise somewhere, but the walkie talkie dies before the squad can more accurately pinpoint where this is coming from. Lamenting the death of a supposed innocent, the crew regrettably goes on with their day knowing that ThinkBig was probably in contact with somebody.

Throughout the day, the walkie talkie eerily echoes "tttthhhanks ooobaaama....' in a ghostlike tone, and nobody is quite sure what to make of it.
