If she hits scum, you have dead scum and clear town. If there's no shot, you have scum in Syndesis.

Lylo without knowing you're in Lylo is basically bastard play not happening in a normal. The large normal you linked doesn't count as evidence against that because the proportion of town:scum was waaaay off and town had a lot of warning there *would* be two nightkills.
Besides, if that was the case, why hasn't scum hammered someone already? I'm sure there have been plenty of chances for them to do that.

I have yet to hear one reason, one pro town thing syndesis has done this entire friggin game. I'm not willing to gamble my last mislynch when I have as close to a sure thing as I've ever had in MS.

We flip scum today, with a mislynch in hand, town still has a chance to win. We willy nilly this thing, and get to D5 with syn dead and no mislynch, I don't feel we will win.

Not a gamble I'm willing to take on a 1 shot town vig that refused to shoot N1 and N2. Like come on people you really believe that crap?

The fact MM4 and BTD6 are both refusing to vote this 6th claimed role truly boggles my mind.

why the fuck does that matter, we gain no tangible advantage by lynching her d3 instead of d4, and if she's town we actually find out that she's town
there is no downside to this play. you said something about an upside of "we find associatives" but really i do not see why we can't get those after lynching her d4. actually, if we don't lynch syndesis!scum today, we have a 100% chance of lynching scum d4, and something something town will magically decide to not lynch the confscum
