Rules

GENERAL RULES

1. Follow all site rules.
2. Play to win. Try and fufill your win condition.
3. Don't utilize outside communication to discuss this game.
4. Do not personally attack people to an excessive degree.
5. Don't quote, misquote, or pretend to quote private communications from the moderator. You may paraphrase. Specifically do not reference the time stamp on your or anyone else's role PM.
6. Don't use encryption, tiny/hidden/unreadable text, or anything that could be easily confused for such.
7. Do not pretend to break a rule; that is the same as breaking them.
8. Do not talk about moderator decisions.
9. No abusing loopholes.

Other rules:

10. Days begin with a deadline of 14 days.
11. Days end when one of the following events occurs:
- The deadline is reached.
- A player is lynched.
- A town-aligned player is modkilled.
12. Votes must be written in VOTE: Lil Uzi Vert tag. Votes that are not tagged will not be counted.
13. Votes can’t be in spoilers or quotes.
14. Nights will last 48 hours or until every living player gives me permission to end the night early.
15. There is no night posting in the game thread.
16. Unless otherwise specified, use of night abilities is optional, and if no action is submitted no action will occur.
17. You can submit night actions in your factional topic, if they should exist, as long as it is bolded and easily identifiable.
18. No “bah” posts.

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

19. Once the game begins, all players must post within 72 hours or a replacement will be sought.
20. Players who do not post for 72 hours in a single game-day will incur a prod.
21. Players who do not post for 24 hours following a prod will be replaced.
22. Players who incur three prods will be replaced.
23. At my discretion, excessive prod-dodging may result in a mod warning and subsequently in disregard of future dodges.
24. If for any reason you are temporarily unable to meet these requirements, you may declare V/LA status in thread and be excused. V/LA declarations must include a definite end date.
25. Notwithstanding V/LA status, any player who does not post at all for seven days will be replaced.

Mechanics:

26. Daychat is enabled for all.
27. Mafia can use their actions, if they do exist, and the factional kill at the same time.

This is one of my first forum games so I'm quite excited!
So I thought I better prepare myself because I've heard all the stories of wolfgods (that's what we call in them in the inner circles) of the likes of Sharan Tate and Skellen solving games by page 5. Insanity?!
So I've been up all night reading through the mafiascum wiki and I am now a walking encyclopedia of knowledge.
I'm serious, if you want to know about ANYTHING, whether it be about what an abbreviation means, or some obscure study or guide into how often people who mention self-meta are scum: just ask me, I've got you covered.

So while reading through the wiki, I discovered that it's site meta to claim the Miller role right from the get go, so without further ado:

I know you may have reservations given the Survivor part of my claim. But I give you my honest law-abiding word that I will strive to and will always work with the town's best interests from here on out.

In fact, here's a pledge:

I, Hectic, will self-hammer myself in any situation where the number of mafia are equal to the number of town.

That pledge up there stops me from siding with scum and winning the game with them in a LyLo situation. With this fallback, you guys can just use this failsafe to spite me out of a win. Therefore, I will never betray you.

And with that I just made roster 15% more likely to be scum.
A study on mafiascum states that anyone accused of flailing is 15% more likely to be scum.
However, the person accusing someone of flailing is actually made 30% more likely to be scum.
Unfortunately, even though I am 30% more likely to be scum here, I cannot self-vote because I am confirmed Survivor to myself.
So I will have to take the second best option and vote for roster, who is 15% more likely to be scum here:

From where I'm standing the logic is flawless. Just remember it's a early vote so people night take it seriously. Other then self-voting - a ridiculous thing to do in almost any scenario - the first vote made by someone is almost never a talking point.

In the case of your role, I don't think the order matters it's just convention to put modifiers before the role name eg loved watcher rather than watcher that is loved

I may not be a good IC. The wiki does say to be a good IC you should "Be friendly, be helpful, and don't do stupid things" the latter is one I may not conform to as you will most likely discover.

oo 21 players now this is something new. Never been a game with over 15 players before. A stark difference from the days of playig mafia in warring factions side forum for forum games

was a struggle at times to get a game with 10 players of which 2-4 would be turbo lurkers. Think a game with so low activity that it could have its days extended to a hoel month
