That reminded me about your question with regard to the Ascetic role.

Basically, nothing other than day elimination or nightkill (of any flavor, mafia, town or SK) will work on them. Doctors can't save them. Cops/Trackers/Neapolitans can't check them. Mailmen cannot send them mail. Any active roles used on them bounce back. That doesn't mean that you cannot try to perform an action on them. It just won't really do anything.

So if Porkens tried to track KittyTacky or NJAC, what he would get would always be no result. If you had tried to save KittyTacky, it wouldn't have worked.

So....yeah voting NJAC out was very lucky I guess.
I think the claim just stank too much of a late day claim by a scum. That it was a genuine claim made it all the more lucky we hammered, esp as the claim was effectively confirmed in twilight.

My vote was also partially self interest, as I knew I would be the wagon that went.

But why did Salsa hammer?

Can I ask, what was the softclaim that people thought I had? Porkens I think it was who mentioned it.

i think i recognise most of the people's names. i would suggest (from past experience) that if there is a cop type role in the game that Crescent gets checked night 1, they cannot be allowed as scum to get too far into the game.

Did you enjoy the set-up, the game, my modding, the rules? Constructive criticism is welcome.

I felt that the few times you stepped into the game, it was the right thing to do. All your VCs had current and relevant information. The flavor was good, I especially liked "Mountain At My Gates". I've never played with "Ascetic" roles before, so I learned something new.

Overall, I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Game seemed balanced, town got lucky and rolled it up from there, but by no means unwinnable for scum which is what I want for a game, a fair shot for both sides

I was smacked by Covid and completely shut down to end day 1, but didn't replace out overnight because I expected to get shot.

It was unfortunate that the end of D2 was during my sleeping time. I woke up in the middle of the night and saw that I was about to get hammered so claimed, and I had some convincing arguments to explain why I chose Kitty, but I needed to go back to sleep, and I never imagined that town was going to hammer a claimed investigative role. That was decisive for the game, so well done Town, specially Porkens and Salsa.

I'm not good with game mechanism... every time I was hearing about any soft-claim or full-claim, I was increasing scum numbers in my mind lolol.

In 11 players game, 9 towns with 2 strong PR & 1 week PR + 2 scums with 2 strong PR seems balanced from my limited knowledge.

I ironically finished this game at the same time I finished another and the wolf also used a specific word multiple times oddly.
However that dude was a power player and another power player told everyone to not vote him and to vote me if I try.
And the dude thinks that was fine. :p
