As I’ve said before, it’s possible that it’s not Volxen but Baezu. But Volxen town gives Baezu scum while I don’t think the converse is true.

Roster you need to think about things logically. If I Skitter and I were scum together and Baezu was town, we could have most likely gotten Baezu mislynched on day one by having Skitter fakeclaim a town power role. If Skitter fakeclaimed a TPR and didn't get CC'd, then 99% of the time Baezu would have been lynched, because Baezu was the counter-wagon to Skitter. If Skitter did get CC'd, at least we would have known the identify of a town power role.

Skitter fakeclaimed VT, and she must have realized that would seal her fate. So the question is why didn't she fakeclaim a TPR and shift attention away from herself and towards Baezu? If Skitter and Baezu are scum together, then her fakeclaiming VT makes sense. Skitter was already under a lot of heat and probably figured she would get lynched at some point anyways, and so she fakeclaimed VT so as to not draw attention to Baezu.

From your perspective, if you are town, scum!Baezu should make a lot more sense to you than scum!Volxen, and you shouldn't be advocating for my lynch just so you can use my flip to help you determine Baezu's alignment. You should be able to judge Baezu's alignment based on her gameplay and her interactions with Skitter. Your play here doesn't make sense if you are town.

“Agent Rodgers, what can you tell us about the murders!”

“The local police will hold a press conference shortly, until then can you get out of my way!” the FBI agent responded tartly to the small group of journalists that had gathered near the side entrance of the police station.

Agent Rodgers didn’t like journalists. They got in the way. He barged his way past the one who’d been harrying him, a CNN crime reporter he vaguely remembered from a difficult press conference in Minneapolis after a spate of serial killings, and made his way through a cramped corridor to a stuffy meeting room where about fifteen cops had crammed themselves around what looked like a dining table. He recognised the man who he knew to be the county sheriff from a news report he’d seen the previous night, shortly after receiving the call about a string of seemingly connected murders in Amesbury, Nebraska.

The sheriff saw him at the door and shuffled round the edge of the table to him.

“You must be Al Rodgers, welcome,” the sheriff said.

“That’s me.” Agent Rodgers replied. “No formalities please, I’ve been briefed but go over the situation for me again, the pen-pushers always forget something.”

“Alright then. Local cop was shot at his home Friday night, managed to kill two of his attackers before they did him but at least three others got away. Then yesterday evening we found someone strung up from a tree just outside town, IDed him from his prints as Julian Brewer. We put his name in the database and it turns out he was into some pretty dark shit in Chicago, got a long record of involvement with one of the big mafia families, suspected of a couple murders but nothing was ever proven. Then a local was found shot dead outside the town hall this morning.”

Agent Rodgers was already going over the details in his head. Most likely a pretty boring case; local cop investigates someone with connections, gets stung. Of course, the locals would be out of their depth, but he dealt with this stuff every day.

“Well if that’s it I better-” Agent Rodgers begun before the sheriff cut him off.

“It’s not.”

And from the flustered look now on the sheriff’s face, the agent knew. This was going to be an interesting case after all.

Detective Sergeant Carl Harrison stared into his morning coffee. He was having something of a crisis of faith in his choice of employment.

When he’d joined Amesbury Police Department 18 months earlier, Sergeant Bergmann had quickly become not just his mentor, but one of his closest friends. Carl had been on the late-night shift at the station on Friday night, and had been the first officer on the scene at Sergeant Bergmann’s murder. Already Carl knew he wouldn’t forget that terrible scene for as long as he lived.

But if Sergeant Bergmann’s death had left him heartbroken, the events of the previous evening had made his blood freeze. On after the murder of a citizen, seemingly by the same gang of criminals, outside the town hall late on Sunday night, several unidentified townsfolk had cornered a suspected member of the group in a field on the edge of town and lynched him. Once again, Carl had been called to the scene, where he instantly identified the lynched mafioso (the FBI agents who had flown in the previous day were now certain that the crimes were linked to the Chicago mafia) as a trainee constable from the county police department that had recently been reassigned to Amesbury. FBI Agent Rodgers, on the other hand, had identified his body as that of a criminal who’d vanished from Chicago 18 months earlier.

And Carl had thought to himself, if he couldn’t even trust his fellow officers, who could he trust? And who could keep the people of his hometown safe if there were even crooks amongst the cops?

Me and Invisibility were volxen's neighbors. Last night, after the deadline, he claimed to us telling us that he was redirecting roster onto Yes Mafia. If roster was mafia, then Yes Mafia would have been the kill. On Night 1, he redirected Baezu onto roster which means the mafia probably know what roster's role is now, assuming Baezu used her rolecop shot then.

From POE, I think mafia is one of {Invisibility, Yes Mafia, Enigma, MariaR}

I'm gonna take a look at each of them and report back.
