My team was always doomed, as no one has yet to ever town read me on this site in any of my completed games.

I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but it was not all a waste. Your slip resulted in House dropping his JoAT Mason claim this day phase, so the scum team can now potentially aim their night kill more effectively.
