Town just sort of stopped posting at the end? It was really bizarre.

i had no idea the deadlines were so short

that's probably why. otherwise i would have pushed much harder

You say it like you deserve credit for it, anyone can call whatever they want, but it means exactly nothing when you're not even voting for your scum reads or pushing them and lose to a no lynch.

Now who the hell killed apricity?!

Then you misinterpreted my meaning, because I wasn't going for "credit." Why do you want to know who killed me?

I loved playing this game with all of you, it was very intense and exciting.
The setup was awesome. I'm nominating it for scummies 2016.

Its a great setup, it just didn't play that fun for me to be honest. Maybe deserving of great setup design?

I think, as far as design, the way roles branched and the flavor of evolution fit really well in a survival of the fittest sort of mafia game.
I agree that the reality of the game didn't play out as cool as it is in my head, but I love it nevertheless.

I'll give you that. I thought that two strongman kills was a little overpowered for us.

Regarding design:

It was very interesting, no doubt about that.

I think it might be better if there weren't overlap of abilities, particularly between town and scum. The overlap made it difficult to make judgments regarding claims. Although maybe that was mod's intent, so the game couldn't be broken with a massclaim.

When I saw 7 day phases, I assumed the idea was that, with the mutation mechanic, people would be more eager to be on lynches, and so they'd go faster anyway, so why bother with 14-day phases. But, it didn't work out that way. I was the only person who came in with the lynch-hungry attitude. But aside from that, I don't get people saying they weren't aware of the short phases. The countdowns were in the VCs like any other game and scum were well aware of the deadlines.

Yeah that sucked having useless abilities with a strongman godfather. All scum had to do was strongman and render roleblock and jail keeper useless. Commuter was apparently the only not useless way for me to go but would not have mattered.

Still salty about 2 no lynches.

there's a pretty big difference between keeping things within the scope of the game and being toxic and making the game miserable to the point of being unplayable

That dog don't hunt. (Explaining the joke for Anti's sake: your hydra is name Hell
hound
and you never actually scum hunt.)

P.S. Fucking Varsoon swooping in right when I caught up.
i could pull more stuff from twilight zone, but i think you already know what i'm talking about.
!V reporting in to be a sore winner, resting on the victory of his hydra-mate.

I feel like I said meaner stuff than that. -w-

You quoted me criticizing your play specifically. You gotta at least take that as fair game, man.
It is possible -- indeed it is far more than probable -- that he was innocent of all participation in the bloody transactions which took place. The Ourang-Outang may have escaped from him. He may have traced it to the chamber; but, under the agitating circumstances which ensued, he could never have recaptured it. It is still at large.
