The poison is beautiful balance wise but it just made the ending so anti-climactic

And there was no way to know there were so many when the claim was made.

That's why I said X trackers. I was BSing my way through it all and changed my claim multiple times over just so any other town trackers wouldn't feel like claiming.

Simply put, once pisskop claimed, I guessed there were a bunch of trackers. Earlier sketchy behaviors in reaction to kuribo claiming also implied this.

Like it or not I made a call and committed to it for as long as I thought was necessary.

By the way, would really like Tiresias to explain why they didn't at least try to submit something. A Psychiatrist not going anywhere last night is one indicator of a possible Ninja. Especially with Anti's setup spec still making a hell of a lot of sense, getting the scum to think any vig claim was an SK.

I read the dead thread!

I was very happy when all the townies we killed said that we would probably win and find it amusing that the one who believed in us the least was a dead scumpartner
I felt really dumb when Davesto died and Prohawk was tracked - YGS said that he was shooting Davesto or Fate so having Davesto make the kill over Prohawk was derp derp derp, but am pleasantly surprised with how all of our other night actions turned out; I didn't think that I'd be able to get Nahdia lynched ever and was pretty sure she would immediately become a thorn in our side while Antihero would have probably shot down some of the assumptions about the setup that profited us so much; we probably wouldn't have been able to win if either of those were alive.

I really really liked the level of power in this game and I liked how town's power was centered around taking scum by surprise while scum's power was centered around being able to recover - 7 trackers, while not the worst thing in the world when you know about them, are fucking crippling when you don't know about them - it wasn't a reasonable expectation to expect 7 trackers when two claim (and knowing about a lot of power does nothing for you), but guessing that we had the factional ninja, poison was not a conclusion town was going to get to easily. A scumteam playing well early would also be forced to stay together and mislynch threats instead of just shoot them, which was also something I liked about the setup.

I think that you took a big risk making this setup and it turned out great and I had fun - thank you! Although if scum ended up having the JOAT instead of the factional abilities I would have strangled the ever loving shit out of you both. <3

Thanks! We wanted to challenge the site meta's tendency to "follow the cop" so to say, and not challenge role information from play information. Few players showed the ability to think critically, and very nearly reached the conclusion that there must be something else going on with all the trackers in the game.

I think the factional abilities over a JOAT was a good call, having the ninja and poison on one member would of made this waaay too swingy. Really cool setup though IMO, I probably would have gotten really confused had I been alive and setup spec'd to hell. That's a lesson I'll take vicariously from this. GG!

Thought the factional abilities were going to be OP, and did end up giving scum the win, but I think it was pretty balanced in the end. Town did not help themselves with the Marquis quicklynch.

And yep, setup spec is dangerous if you don't take into consideration possibilities that you may be omitting! Setup spec with an open mind, not with a closed one!

I targeted YGS because there's no other acceptable action for a Psychiatrist who has outed a claimed vig. I targeted you when I did because I figured that targeting the person who I found the scummiest as Psychiatrist is probably what I would do if town.

Fire...honestly man, going forward, I think everyone town in a game, would appreciate if you could submit an action every time your are a PR. I for instance, submit my actions ahead of time for the upcoming night phase in case I'm too busy to do so, especially on a weekday. And if I end up changing my mind before that night phase deadline, then I pm the mod.

Considering you were in a hydra and no night action was submitted .... that was frustrating to hear.

I never said I did well. This blame is on multiple people. You coming in here and blaming people shows a lack of personal responsibility for my lynch and for losing.

If I was still alive, I wouldn't have done much better, and I said I played terrible in the game.

Like my reads, 100% terrible. I even admitted so in the dead thread.

I learned a lot about how Fate plays, in this game. Interesting playstyle he carries, reminds me of pk town (at times) and Jake from State Farm (the past Jake, as the recent few games I played with him, he seemed more mellow).
