I made it to a dunn/froot ; yume/bella ; vedith->clumsy read and that was correct

-Nobody was going to consider voting him, or at least I thought so
-Other people thought I was semi-confirmed town, so this was my way of letting me get to lylo without really questioning why I didn't die
-It framed Bins some more

In past few months I hadn't the fun I desired to have from mafia games and I think I was so mean and un-enjoyable and thats not me.

For suggestions I'd say definitely no vengekill in lylo - that was ridiculous
Maybe emphasis the gifts more? Honestly the protective gifts were kind of boring, I think more of towns power can be shifted to gifts like 1-shot cop, 1-shot doctor, etc

The feast thing needed a longer deadline for the first part, with the second part being the short deadline (and should be able to be ended early with regular hammers)

Mollie, Bins, I told you you were both town! Why wouldn't you listen?

Admittedly, I started second-guessing myself in the dead thread. It should have been highly obvious, though, that Bins couldn't be scum because a hypothetical scum Bins would have to have NKed mollie to survive. (mollie kept deathtunneling her even after I got NKed, so there would have been no reason for a hypothetical scum Bins to NK me for the WIFOM, and this was predictable even before the night started).

Admittedly, I predicted that this would happen yesterday, which is why I put so much thought into it despite the 4:1. Normally you have two chances to hit scum in a 4:1, but I was aware that I only had one this time (as town were inevitably going to self-destruct in the 2:1, and somehow managed to do so despite having two chances). So feel free to blame me for making the wrong choice in effectively-lylo.

Moment of truth. Also Callforjudgement, your early reads were terrifying. I thought you were going to win the game for town.

If town hadn't been deathtunneling, I could have done! We had two lynches (actually three, but I didn't know that at the time), and only two people who could reasonably be scum (mollie was an outside third possibility, but not one that was really worth considering; I set out an argument for mollie as scum in the dead QT but it's not all that convincing, it mostly just makes the case for her as town a bit weaker rather than actually setting out a case for her as scum). That's normally a won setup for town, but it's not a won setup if town insist on pursuing vendettas from past days rather than looking back at the logic of the setup.

It's also worth noting that the deathtunnelling that was coming from town made the (fake) deathtunnelling by Dunnstral more convincing. Normally something like that's suspicious because it's easy to fake, but it doesn't stand out when there's a bunch of townies doing the same thing.

Just out of interest, if I had voted Dunnstral on day 5, would any of the townies who were alive at the time have joined me? (It probably wouldn't have mattered much; I would have considered Skybird joining the wagon to be a scum reaction, Dunnstral obviously wouldn't self-vote, I wouldn't expect mollie to have changed her vote, and I couldn't get the lynch with just Bins.)

Btw, in terms of the setup, I correctly guessed all the roles D5 (including that the scum only had a 1-shot Strongman); gift manipulation wouldn't be something that obviously belongs in the setup, so I assumed there was some sort of confusion about the votes. I think that, without the vengeful lylo, it was scumsided. However, I also suspect that the vengeful lylo overbalanced things and brought the setup probably too far on the side of town. (Perhaps not; the scum strongman is much stronger in the setup than the mods likely gave it credit for, and even with the vengeful lylo, the setup is scumsided unless town have a reasonable chance of stopping two kills between their roles and gifts. The strongman makes that pretty difficult.) Still, it's close enough to balanced that I don't really have real concerns in that direction. (In particular, the balance was close enough to correct that I could figure out Bins as town via setup speculation. This is typically a

good

thing; being able to rely on the balance of a setup to confirm players is a part of the way in which setups are balanced, and removing that would make them rather more scumsided.)

Oh, another thing. There were a lot of people who actually didn't vote for the gifts. If everybody had been voting, things may have turned out a lot differently wrt who got the gifts.

I really don't understood your play in the hood vs the thread, you said you said things that you really did not say, you wld say 1 thing in the hood and then say something entirely different in the game thread. you didn't answer vedith's or infinity's or my questions. I also didn't understand how you cld think that fa was anything other than town. and then you tried to cast shade on the player you just confirmed as town.

also you were deathtunneling too, it is kind of what kick started my own but it just seemed like you were playing to an audience. we just did a number on each other's heads this game. it happens.

sorry I vengekilled you and that we lost. I am not going to lie it felt good at the time tho

but I do regret not listening to infinity/cfj more
