Okay, I'm getting confused. Let's rehash. I think that NM saying he learnt nothing isn't alignment indicative because there are reasons for him to do it as either alignment. What's your response? There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

I agree to a certain extent. I don't think it's bet the game worthy but mentally I'm giving it a town lean.“To be is to do”—Socrates. “To do is to be”—Jean-Paul Sartre. “Do be do be do”—Frank Sinatra.

VOTE: N_M
Says he doesn't like the Pine push and then less than 100 posts later joins in anyway.
Then decides that his vote was apparently a reaction test, which seems to me like a convenient way for scum to get people off their backs for accidentally pushing a vote to L-1
Then he says he learnt nothing from this 'reaction test'. There's been plenty of discussion on this already, but to put in my 2¢ - scummy. It's such an easy way out, and also indicative of the fact that his 'reaction test' was bs. Surely if one was actually reaction testing then they'd think of what they were actually looking for as tells. 'Nothing' just seems like such a bs scummy response under the guise of 'town honesty'
And this is all finished off with his most recent series of posts just trying to bait Accountant.- Infinity 324

I'm hoping to convince him that what NM did isn't a towntell. Questioning logic is how I sort people. I sort people by looking for the righteousness of their pushes and the genuineness of their reads, and that flows from the logic they use to justify them. There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

Weak town at this point, just for her approach to things and how she's willing to second-guess what others seem to be assuming. But I'm notably shit at reading Titus so I wouldn't be willing to take it to the bank at this point. In post 698, Infinity 324 wrote:

I don't think it's *necessary* that there's a counter wagon, but I do think it's likely that there should be one. I don't think that Pine's wagon is so (bad isn't the right word - dedicated? strong?) that it can't be derailed if Pine was scum and his partners wanted to save him.In post 712, Accountant wrote:
Why would there necessarily be a counter if Pine was scum?In post 628, Titus wrote:You'd think if Pine was scum, there'd be some semblence of a counter. There isn't because Pine is getting railroaded by opportunistic scum.
Any scum with their teammate getting wagoned early faces a tricky dilemma wherein they have to take the risk of their teammate dying vs the risk that they look bad if they defend them, their teammate flips scum and they get fucked by associatives.
Given Pine's behavior this game, I think the possibility of a scumbuddy abandoning him to die is very real.- Accountant

Yeah, but even if Pine lasts through this day, he'll still be a huge suspect tomorrow, and if he gets lynched then, whoever hard defended him goes down with him. So I can definitely see why a partner would abandon here, especially since Pine got flashwagoned out of nowhere and came very very close to L-1 super early onThere's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.
