I don't really think Kmd's inactivity was a reason to scumread it when it said that it was caused by RL; it has a ton of experience playing scum and isn't a player that is unable to produce content as scum so, don't really understand that take.

That's because I'd post my catchup, go do RL, and come back to more pages. I was overwheled. I'm not scared to actually play scum. I just could not keep up.

I honestly don't know who carried who this game. I think VNB played really well and won the least-wrong award tied with mastina but it was mostly just mechanics and us just going "Hm, how about we check Carya?" that saved the day.

I powertunneled two town back to back and had complete flipped reads.

Actually, Carya would have been confirmed scum on Day 4.

I mean I agree but I don't see why they would have done that or how they could have known; me+VNB made sure not to leak what we knew and I never softed jailkeeper. I was dreadfully wrong so there wasn't really a reason to expect me specifically to suddenly go 3/3 for the next day, let alone the entire rest of the town.

I think giving the second vig at all was probably an error, as the chance to fake clear a scum member would I think have been useful. Also just by random chance knocking off a cop or jailkeeper by n2 was realistically likely, it just didn't work out that way.

With Carya knowing camn was vengeful and hated

They wouldn't have bum rushed the lynch.


ALSO, on day 3 KMD was going to be the lynch regardless, so 2 scum, say they would probably make it to the 2 player LyLo with the hated.

Same situation different numbers doesn't matter.

The simple fact that scum doesn't bum rush means they're informed of camn, meaning scum had to find out, meaning camn told Carya, and that is in the PT told to mastina.

The importance with mastina knowing, is that if camn dies, then we can deduce they knew the camn claim and killed her, because there was no possible way to know camn was vengeful in the thread otherwise, confirming Carya.



Hilariously enough, what camn thought was a misplay, was actually damning to the Carya slot.

So in the new LyLo, Carya is lynched

and we'd have like VNB with two confirmed towns, camn and say prism

Town won because the game was PoE'd off the guilty; scum wins this game 9/10 times if not for that night action, I think. There were a bunch of things that created that PoE, but without the guilty none of it falls into place. I don't think scum really groked their roles, particularly the vig maker, which contributed quite a lot to that; using it effectively would've required careful planning that never really took place; they also banked the game on Caryatid never flipping by not killing off their targets - game was over with the Caryatid guilty.

And, yeah, I don't understand mechanics at all and needed my buddies to step in there. I didn't even understand that I was clearing camn and prism by targetting them, otherwise i would've targetted camn both nights.
