Yeah, without the RB you'd have gotten dem sweet results! I just realuzed too late that it was a bad role especially with an already OP town

The idea behind there being multiple vigges was twofold - guilties by gunsmith become unreliable, and town has the possibility to shoot themselves far more often, if they are even used.

Part of what I liked about the setup was giving the choice of powers to use and the refreshing of them, though I know the Cycle vs Phase thing got screwed up a lot in translation.

Also, retroactive investigative was a mistake to include.

I think there are very good arguments to be made for why you shouldn't have even said it worked as a retroactive watcher, and that that was in fact another mod error.

Let's look at what the ability says:

Legend Lore: Ask a detail about any player, you will be told an honest answer if possible.

Here's why I think it shouldn't work as a retroactive watcher:

1) If you look at the source his game was based on (dnd 5e) that's... not what it does, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't the intent of the setup designer for it to function in that way.

2) Legend lore would have to target the person who killed lovebird (so, me) instead of lovebird themself. So, they shouldn't have been able to ask "Who killed lovebird" - because it gives information on someone who isn't lovebird. They would have to ask "Did Dunnstral kill lovebird"

2-B) If you disagree with the above, then consider this: What if gamma had asked:

What number in the playerlist in post 3 belongs to the last living scum?

Would the reply be "13" - or would that be an invalid question? If it's an invalid question, then what makes it invalid that doesn't apply to 2? After all, it is asking for information about somebody - you just don't know the identity, same deal with the lovebird scenario. Same identity, even

3) Lovebird was dead, and shouldn't have been a valid target for the ability in the first place. This is debatable as it's never actually mentioned anywhere in the rules, but I believe the standard on this site that's been set is that dead players cannot be targeted by abilities unless explicitly stated in the ability text

4) This ability should have required a target, because it didn't explicitly say it didn't require one. It should have been redirected to have the question target another player. You may note that it doesn't explicitly require a target, but I'll note that there are numerous abilities in this game that didn't state they required a target, that actually did. I'll list some: My doctor ability, MariaR's redirect ability, multiple dayvig abilities, all of MariaR's level 19 abilities***, etc

16. Unbreakable Majesty: Become a Nexus

19. More Magical Secrets: Gain the following 1-shot Spell Scrolls:

I do agree actually. Like I say, this was poorly conceived and poorly modded. I put it together with bo guidance and nl reviewer or anyone signing off on it. I also did not expect to need to get to level 19 and basically at that point the game wouldbe too ridiculous as most classes gain some sort of op kill or op invulnerability. It was why saske's role warned about letting the game go on too long.
