unless you'd argue that the very moment that the enabler enabler is killed, the backup enabler enabler would no longer function and thus would not be able to become the new enabler enabler, but I'd say that's a design choice

I feel like there could exist a marathon game with a load of roles that are random permutations of backup and enabler but wincons and the actual mechanical purpose behind the game would have to be devised
