THE SETUP IS CRRAAAZZY.
Setup is long-ish, so I'm hoping to get it setup while other games run. OK?
Days are 10min, nights are 5min (or however long it takes to get me to figure out what the heck happened).
Modified Greatest Idea Mafia is a version of Greatest Idea Mafia recently created and run by Aronis, in attempt to make the setup more 'balanced' in general.
- Players are dealt 5 roles along with a modifierfrom the list of roles seen on the wikipage. Your modifier will not change based on your role.
- Players will choose two roles for his alignment and two roles for his role, discarding one. Example, you have been dealt:
Town Vanilla
Mafia Roleblocker
Town Hider
Town Mason
Mafia Goon
You may pick Town & Mafia or Town & Town for your alligment, and then you must pick two roles. Your role will then be RANDOMIZED from these selections. So if you picked Town & Mafia for your allignment, Hider and Mason for your role, and discarded Mafia Goon, you may end up being a Town Hider, Town Mason, Mafia Hider, or Mafia Mason.Anything unclear, and you can PM me.
- Discards are shown, town majority, etc etc.
- For fun, marathon purposes, I am making it so Lynchers do not end the game if their wincon is met. They will be Treestumped, but have won.
Note that Werewolves, Cult Leaders, Serial Killers, Lynchers, and Survivors are considered to have the "Vanilla" role when paired with other alignments, e.g. WereTownie, Town Leader, Serial Townie, Lynching Townie, Surviving Townie when paired with the "Town" alignment. Though cosmetically different, all are, for all intents and purposes, Vanilla Townies. Role Cops will return "Were," "Leader," "Serial," "Lynching," "Surviving" for each, respectively.
