i have literally no idea what's going on in their head i'll be blunt. theyve been really off in general like outside of the game and so i dont really think this is tied to alignment. they could also be trying to affect their posting style so people don't identify them? if i'm right i still think it's kind of obvious but whatever, i'm letting them do them

either way i kind of feel as though their reads all seeming really off is town indactive - plus when theyre scum whiteknighting people for no reason theyre usually more assertive about it. like theyre just kind of doing their own thing and don't really have what feels like a specific aim or trajectory besides identifying their own scumreads and teasing me.

i kind of would like to engage with them though because theyre one of the few players that legitimately has like a tell that works on them and i havent been able to trigger it. if he's deliberately trying to not tell in that way i can see him doing it as town fwiw, like they're definitely the kind of person who after finding out i have a tell on them would try to fuck with me either way

I'm not really sure I get this. The #1 thing that gets me townreading people is seeing that they are thinking the things that I've been thinking, i.e. we're coming from the same mindset and getting that town hivemind going. I don't NEED to have the same conclusions as others but seeing that we see the same things can be helpful? If that makes sense?

Yeah, I townread people for the same reason (most of my eddie townread is based on that reasoning), but I think scum are also aware of this and will try to thus engage with other people to convince them to work with them. purrcs especially tries to do this

so, sure, while i really dont get what they're doing right now, i think scum!purrcs would be trying to assert their opinions more I guess? They don't really feel like they have a plan or are trying to mislead anyone, they're just letting out their genuine thoughts. I just dont

their genuine thoughts and would like to reach out to them to see if we can find middle ground if I'm right or to update my read if not.

like town won't always be right, and sometimes we have upside down reads. it happens, and i'd be hardpressed to scumread purrcs for that because we've definitely agreed with each other in games where i'm town and who i presume them to be was scum
