I spent an unholy amount of time tunneling on a town dude and I’m confused why scum just didn’t barrel along with me. I thought the stagnation was because they were both scum. Now I’m starting to realize that I was either arguing with town a lot or scum that knew that MC was town and I’m not sure how I feel about that.

Like I said, your initial reaction didn't trouble me too much. it was more of a "hmm" about the game design.

The way your activity dropped off later this game day does bug me though. I think you tend to feel uncomfortable as scum and don't post as much. I'm pretty sure, though, that my only experience with scum-you was in the Penultimate game. We haven't played together much. I've seen your play as a mod more than as a player, and there are inherent limits to that kind of meta for me.

This IS an anomaly, and regardless of my read on you the apparent contradiction needs to be reviewed when there's more data about us both.

I do sometimes mafia at work when I learn that two students were in an altercation and then I step way the fuck back and decide on the most careful objective assessment I can make, which is pretty much “that sure does look like a shoe print to me” “ and this is characteristic of nail scratches”.

Oh and for those of you who were not in tenet, a major part of my scum win was pushing the narrative that town couldn't have a non-macho IC, a watcher, a tracker, and a doctor all at once.

Spoiler alert: Cakez gave them all of that to counteract the extremely dangerous scum vanilla cop.

As you said the game seems to be put together in sort of a weird way with how stuff like that resolves

. I could easily see the ability only being triggered if the target is successful and healing HP when they're at HP might not be successful.

Pointless to have that discussion after the quick hammer though. I'm just a little miffed I didn't get to keep investigating that.

I'm trying to re-assure myself more than I actually think it was 100% nail-in-coffin damning.
