Also i feel like it makes more sense for scum to be in the waffling slots that act ambivalent about the whole thing, not the ones that openly hate on Ircher. Now Mala explains that they think it was planned bussing, but how would they know that? There is no specific reasoning for them to believe it, it just seems like an lazy dismissal so nobody will think more of it than that it's just "distancing".
