What’s the core reason you play mafia?
For me, I mostly play because it’s a social outlet when I’m rather starved for in-person social circles I feel comfortable in. The game is fun but I don’t put winning above the social aspect.

I would say nothing.

When FL leads D1 with 1142 posts making up over 30% of the games total posts at the time, it's hard to get any sort of investment going. Especially when you consider the lowest poster of D1 had 34 posts making up and I shit ye not 0.9% of the games posts.

Then consider D2 with 302 from SCP and the lowers having a total of 19 making up 15% and 0.98%

There was a heck of a lot of bombs, heads, chaos cards, poop flinging pretty sure I even saw a lil gurdy go flying at one point. I took one look at the game and decided nope. There's entire pages of shitfighting I have read because dangit I have better shit to do with my life than watch town on town action or get caught up in it.

LARP. I lived breathed and fought as this character, I wore her warpaint, I swung her weapons and I bellowed her orders on the battlefields. On a sunday I would grab her weapons, her shield, her mask/warpaint, dress, chainmail, and wear it, and do battle.
