Cuz we failed some stuff there.
Immune to kills
and actions
Then why were you on Lime's ass when he failed his neighbor thing? You're
immune
to it <_<

Yeah that.
Chronos is not Cronus.
Technically Chronos is like Cronus' great-great-grandfather.
Chronos->Chaos->Gaia->Uranus->Cronus

I have a lot of thoughts after reading the dead threads.
For one, Moz is so hateful. Me and Schadd gave you a win, enjoy it :p
-Mario's guilty on me falling into oblivion was kind of lolzy. Reason I didn't claim roleblocker was because MM was so obviously town that there was no way I as town woulda roleblocked him, so I had to come up with a different flavor of bullshit. Not that anyone held me accountable for THAT either.
-Bussing is a legitimate strategy, wether Moz likes it or not :p
-I wanted to tell Lime why he was failing his action on Wheme (I think I actually did at some point)
-We (well I wanted to) shot Nos because while he thinks he was useless, he was pretty obviously town (at the time), and we were working off the assumption that Nero was some form of BP and Mario was the prime protection target.
Overall I think this game had a lot of it being poor townplay as opposed to great scum performance, with no offense to my allies.

I agree.
I also think the day that I was trying to get Mario elected as chief God but didn't was a big problem. I was worried that if I was too forceful I'd let scum know something was up.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
@Mods: Why did the friendly neighbor fail both times?
Congratz scum, and good job to lime for being an excellent replacement.
I didn't follow the game closely post-replacement, so I don't really have anything to comment on. The scumteam isn't terribly surprising (interestingly all three of my votes were on scum), but sometimes the town just likes to tear itself apart if the scum lay low.

I would say the council meetings are reasonable to release.

Nero, WhemeStar, just have to say I am in fact a bit salty about this, because actions + nightkills failing when targeting you was valuable information to have which you could have conveyed to me. If I possessed that information, I would have never let WhemeStar become the council leader (because Nero Cain being immune to nightkills I value more than WhemeStar being immune to nightkills), and I would never have wasted my night action on the council leader. Furthermore, it would have prevented me from making serious setup spec errors. (See below.)

This is tied to the above. I was working with the knowledge that actions had failed which shouldn't have been possible to fail. My action failed twice, yet the only possible player to cause that failure was schadd_ by conventional reasoning (or so I thought).
MarioManiac4's action failed, with the only possible player to cause that failure being dramonic. Had I speculated dramonic-schadd_ as the scumteam with both as roleblockers, I'd have been right about the scumteam...but for the wrong reasons, because both as scum roleblockers felt a bit unreasonable in a game where each pantheon is already only active every third night (and I was right to conclude it was unreasonable).
When you combine these deductions together, there was a strong case to be made for the scum possessing some form of block outside of player/pantheon-specific abilities (similar mechanisms are not at all uncommon in theme games of this nature), in which case dramonic was not confirmed scum. I do not believe in a role equaling an alignment and thought that principle applicable.
In post 3027, WhemeStar wrote:I think there's something about Nos that just makes me want to vote him. I don't think its Nos's fault this is the case its just something I can't explain?
I said it in the final chief god thread, but I actually was doubting my Nosferatu scumread at the end and had developed a theory which would explain the game's events. Admittedly, I was half-wrong (the theory I developed was that dramonic's real role was a role targeting a player and allowing that player to use their action even when their pantheon isn't in power, with his scumbuddy thus being drealmerz7, explaining the failed actions of both MarioManiac4 and my slot), but I am really kicking myself for having voted Nosferatu, yes. Nosferatu was just so votable and I don't really have an explanation for it outside of confirmation bias.
In post 3028, drealmerz7 wrote:I got super paranoid about wheme because he was totally MIA when nosferatu and I were talking things out in the hood N6 and then he was first on the nos wagon - I let that get ahold of me rather than use reason where I knew it was most likely just schadd and dram with my brain
sorry
I told WhemeStar in our thread that he absolutely needed to be actively communicating with you and it was for this very reason. I know you well enough to have my suspicions of when you're going to make a stupid action, so I was predicting you'd block town if I couldn't convince you otherwise. I said that WhemeStar needed to convey to you that if you had any doubts, you needed to explain them so that I could let you know why not to block town. I'm saddened I didn't do so with greater haste since I feel if I had acted faster my messages may have reached you.

I agree. This was my take the moment I replaced into the game. I knew the scum weren't playing well, but that the town was playing worse. The
spicer lynch was the only bad lynch before mozamis in my opinion. after that, it went downhill fast.
dramonic not being lynched in particular was sad; the pantheons were a serious nerf to town, but had the ability to catch scum in actions. my n2 action managed that, and i spent days trying to solve what it meant. as soon as it was solved, i died and town ignored it. apart from nero cain who is our lord and saviour of course, but.

I asked you nicely not to bus early on, and you weren't very nice. You were then not very nice for the rest of the game. Don't try to blame me for YOU being unfriendly. Sure, you played ok - not great, but ok -but it's important to be firendly and helpful if you can. You were a douchebag, simple as.
Learn to play nice in future, or don't play at all. Being smart is only half of it.

The game summed up: below average scum team beat bad town.
Great flavour and roles.
