Please don’t call 5 roles that can screw scum over when they are completely helpless scum sided.

Example literally if N_M wasn’t shot, Stalfos would have been the day 2 lynch forcing them to do the night kill on Cheeky

The most optimal play night one could have literally been:
Creature gets guilty on RC
Cheeky gets guilty on Stalfos
grapes jailkeeps mastina and stops the kill
The alien rolestops Mathblade
N_M vigs camn


No kills two guilties and one scum is dead.

N2 comes around one scum is vigged who wasn't lynched with the guilty and the jail keepers block the same people, still no kill.


What would be even worse is that even in the best scum team scenario, if one still got lynched Day 1, Night 1 comes around and that same event happens with two guilties and one scum shot.

Game is literally over day 2.


So no Mulch, it's not scum sided.

I mean that's not a great example of why it's townsided but the game is townsided.

2 jacked investigators, 2 jailkeepers, and a vig is a lot of power; it's about enough to justify informed 9v4 imo (based on balance not quality of game: would never pass as an actual game). when you give town all those extra vts then well.

this game wasn't townsided, you getting lynched D1 then cheeky getting shot N1 was townsided :P

Are people seriously complaining that the setup was mafia sided when mastina clearly said that this was a mod influenced game in favor of the mafia?

Town power is HEAVILY gated and unlikely to be doing anything late game; weak vig in particular is a role that is very probably antitown (i.e. a really shitty vig can wreck the town, while an accurate vig is only gonna get one kill out of it). The 1-guilty cop is also a VERY nerfed cop, etc.
Probably the main question is how much you value the extra townies in that setup compared to the scum power (gunsmith is super claimable and actively useful to find the vigs
Town neighbors aren't PRs and aren't extra town power, so I basically count them as their role or as essentially VT's barring explcit hood coordinating power such as a cop in the hood, masonizer, etc (scum neighbors of course ARE powerful but 203 didn't have those)

If it was 13/4 instead as...
4 goons
vs weak vig, IC, 1-guilty cop, 2-shot vig, non-consecutive doctor

It'd basically be a 13/4 with five mediocre (1-guilty cop, non-consecutive doctor) to nearly useless (IC, 2-shot vig) to outright shitty (weak vig) PRs.

Passable I guess, but wolves steamrolling led by a bunch of awful vig shots seems like a super predictable potential outcome.

two jailkeepers are useful (mastina being able to take a shot nerfs it materially, but still objectively useful)

gunsmith/neapolitan combo are objectively useful as well. Neapolitan vs a 1-guilty cop... not sure which is better, but tack on a GS too and that's substantial town power.

Like all 5 prs in this game are on the upper echelons of town power. the prs in that game were all severely handicapped.
