this game has inspired me to start tinkering with the sliver mechanic. I think it'd be better suited if a few other people became slivers after the setup was created to make them less parasitic

Trying to keep only balanceable roles in the Grand Idea thread has, unfortunately, been a lost cause. As such, I'd recommend that moderators apply some judgement as to what roles they're going to allow. (OPSurvivor is a good role.)

(Also, as soon as I saw the setup, I realised there would inevitably be a reroll every 24 hours. I was expecting it to turn into a Bad Idea variant as random people became dayvigs, but it turns out that even more OP roles turned up.)

I fully expected it to end at Day 1 btw.

The only reason why it hasn't was because Mulch was a phase skipper.

And it doesn't matter at this point, but OPSurvivor doesn't win the game just by existing, they win the game by being an OPSurvivor at the start of the game, which mid-way through day 2 isn't, so I think TGP exiting the game in a win would be in error

It just says they win if they're alive at the start of the game, which they were, so I took it that way.
