Faintly to keep the governor shot away from the mafia. It wasn't some big game changer in regards to taking away one voice from the group, but we'd agreed that if that was the avenue taken that it should be the Godfather role.

I just wrote it up flavorfully so that it made your role seem like someone caught in the crossfire of the opening kill flavor. In retrospect it probably made you look worse? Idk.

Honestly, I thought it was partly due to you waiting out Korina's ban period actually. Sounded like a clever way to handle that.

Happy little accident. I manually switched which mafia role Korina got to mitigate that after the fact. I had removed him from the game when the ban happened, then re-added them after a while when I was scrolling back through the thread having forgotten about the ban. Didn't realize until after the game filled that there was an issue.

Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission at that point. (That's probably not true but I was antsy about getting started and just kept going at that point. I would fully accept any judgment from moderators for said wrongdoing.)

That's really nice of you, Bingle. I appreciate that. Idk if it's deserved but the votes will govern that, I guess? (Also, not that it matters, but Explictica Defilus, Lord Tsoth, and Azarr Kuul are all D&D originals. I highly suggest "Against the Cult of the Reptile God" to any DM starting a new campaign. It's a lot of fun with enough flexibility to make it your own.)

I lashed out at the player base in ways I shouldn't have.

I wanted to blame everyone else but the truth is that I fucked up really bad in several places. I should have read the flavor, I shouldn't have gotten arrogant and lynched gobble early (TBH he tilted me when he said I was mad I was getting lynched today, and I thought I could stick it to him by proving I wasn't). I shouldn't have manipulated the votes I did to get rid of xofelf. That was slightly less avoidable due to my own lack of knowledge, but I made an assumption when I probably shouldn't have.

I wish I played in hydras more because I really just need someone else to do the PR stuff for me, because I just can't. I'm too impulsive, rash, and I have a bit of a temper, even though I think the way that I play is generally pretty close to optimal. I will say I was pretty frustrated with Elements making some of the decisions he did, but largely I think I still could have won this for both of us if I'd been a little less patient and a little more amiable.
