Apologies for this aspect of the design not being clear enough.
The draft phase of this game was made this way due to certain design choices and thoughts with regards to drafting roles.
We knew, going into it, that handling the draft phase in this way would be off-putting to some players, especially those who prefer the normal approach to drafting roles.
I hope that you still are capable of making an informed decision in the draft and getting a role that you end up enjoying.
