arn't you in queue for a noobie game. until you finish your first game by dying or the winner of the game being revealed, you can only be in a one game/ queue for one game
Where is that posted? I am unaware of that rule and I couldn't find it during a cursory search.

Those limits ONLY apply to the actual newbie queue.

Being /in for a newbie and a normal is fine.
Though, I should note here, that I would not recommend a large as your first game and suggest you wait for your newbie to fire instead. But there is no rule against signing up for a large while being in the newbie queue that I am aware of.
I've been in a Large Normal and a Newbie as my first two games here and had no trouble, although I was only able to handle that because I already had some experience with forum Mafia from other sites.

I'd love to be in the Noob queue, but my twin is also in the noob queue, and so I can't play in a noob game.

No that's not true, I was able to play in multiple games, it's newbie games only where that restriction applies (can't be in 2 newbies until your first is finished I believe)

Are you referring to twin as in sibling, or twin as in alt account?
Siblings can be in the same queue, and if you don't want to be in the same game you can ask the listmod to makes sure that doesn't happen.
You can in to different games on different accounts (but not the same game).
Siblings can even be in the same game, as long as you talk about the game only in the game thread. This may not be for everyone though as it can be hard to not talk about it outside.

Exactly. I've had a little Mafia experience before, so I'll play a Normal game while I wait for Inferno to get out of the Noob Queue. I just want to avoid unnecessary sharing of info. (And yes, twin as in sibling.)
sorry Nexus. i did say i would'nt join another, but i would like to play in another normal for reasons...
(trust me. i will not request replacement for any of the games im in)
