Game Setup
  1. This game is a Semi-Open game.
  2. This game employs Decision mechanic, which is detailed much more below.
  3. One player has a Neutral role. This players alignment will possibly change based on Decision 1.
  4. This game has two versions. A 13 player version and a 15 player version.
  5. Scum have confirmed chat during pregame and before Decision 1 is made.
  6. Players have access to Working Papers, this is also known as last will. This is a content filled post that players can prepare before their death is announced to be posted upon their flip. Anything game related that isn't breaking any rules can be put in it. You cannot make this AFTER your death is announced.

Spoiler: Decision Mechanic
Decision
  1. Each day players will decide between a few options that will change the game.
  2. All possible decisions and options are public information.
  3. The first decision will be which setup will be played.
  4. The first decision will take place before you can vote for anyone to be lynched and will have 7 days to decide.
  5. All decisions after Day 1 will be take place concurrently as lynching.
  6. A decision must be made even if a majority isn't made on it, the option with most votes by deadline will be the one that goes through.

Spoiler: Accounts Payable Setup
Nightless
  1. There is no night kill, no power roles.
  2. All player roles are vanilla.
  3. Scum will have a one shot day kill that can be used at any time.
  4. One player who was neutral will convert to scum team.
  5. All players will join a neighborhood with a player in game for 2 player neighborhoods.
  6. Scum have constant chat.
  7. This game will be a 10:5 Town to Scum [15v]
  8. The game will be a 9:4 Town to Scum [13v]


DecisionsDay 2 Decisions:
(1) Lynches from here on are done by gladiate between group pairs. One team challenges another and only people within those groups can be lynched.
(2) The game will proceed as normal, no changes to be made.
Day 3 Decisions:
(1) Players can continue talking to their neighbor if they die from this point forward.
(2) Players can change up the neighborhoods (accounts) they are in for this day and forward. Neighborhoods can still only be two players.
Day 4 Decisions:
(1) Players now act as lover pairs in neighborhoods. If one player dies/lynched, other also dies.
(2) Game continues with no changes.
Day 5 Decisions:
(1) Game speed will now be that of a Blitz. 72 hour day/24 hour night.
(2) Game speed will now be sped up to 7 days for Day. 24 hour night.
(3) Game Deadline removed

Spoiler: Cash Setup
Normal
  1. All players will get a new role pm that will follow Normal guidelines.
  2. Please see the Normal Game Wiki for further description of what constitutes a normal game on MafiaScum.
  3. The only non normal mechanic in this game is the "Decision" mechanic and "Working Papers" seen above.
  4. No White List role(s) were used.
  5. This setup was made with a reasonable assurance to balance.
  6. This game will be a 11:4 Town to Scum with 1 Scum being a traitor who losses if last scum [15v]
  7. This game will be a 10:3 Town to Scum. [13v]

DecisionsDay 2 Decisions:
(1) The game has now two lynches for this day instead of one. The scum team gain a factional strongman/ninja/roleblock if this occurs. This factional can be used on any night.
(2) The game will proceed as normal, no changes to be made.
Day 3 Decisions:
(1) Game thread is open during this night.
(2) Players all become temporary mailmen. They can send up to 10 messages total to players, for this day only.
Day 4 Decisions:
(1) A player can be publicly role copped for the day. Players vote for the person to be role copped after this is chosen. This person role copped cannot be lynched for this day.
(2) Game continues with no changes.
Day 5 Decisions:
(1) Game speed will now be that of a Blitz. 72 hour day/24 hour night.
(2) Game speed will now be sped up to 7 days for Day. 24 hour night.
(3) Game Deadline removed


Vanilla Townie Role PM
Welcome, X, you are a Vanilla Townie.

Abilities
  • During the Day, you may vote for whomever you want lynched.
  • You cannot perform any night action.

Win Condition
You win when all the mafia are eliminated.

Role Madness
  1. This will be a game with heavy number of power roles.
  2. Few to no vanilla players will be in game.
  3. Role =/= Alignment
  4. See below for roles and modifiers that are possible for this game.
  5. Roles in this game can have either 0, 1, or 2 modifiers
  6. Players are to be warned that their is no assurance of balance and is likely going to be very swingy.
  7. This game will be a 11:4 Town to Scum. [15v]
  8. This game will be a 10:3 Town to Scum. [13v]

DecisionsDay 2 Decisions:
(1) Lynches are now done by Kingmaker mechanic. Random Town player becomes the Kingmaker and they select King who decides the lynch instead. If kingmaker dies previous King becomes Kingmaker
(2) Game continues with no changes.
Day 3 Decisions:
(1) Game thread is open during nights from here on out.
(2) Players LYNCHED and KILLED tonight become tree stumps and can continue talking throughout the game.
Day 4 Decisions:
(1) Player who is lynched today becomes vengeful.
(2) Game continues with no changes.
Day 5 Decisions:
(1) Game speed will now be that of a Blitz. 72 hour day/24 hour night.
(2) Game speed will now be sped up to 7 days for Day. 24 hour night.
(3) Game Deadline removed

Draft
  1. All Players start out with $1000 in resources
  2. Every player starts out vanilla.
  3. Players can bid during the day and win roles for use at night
  4. Roles sold will be announced but not how much they sold for or who got them.
  5. Bidding abilities will be hidden before they can bid on.
  6. All players will be put in a Neighborhood by scums choosing. These are night only.
  7. These will have up to 3 players in each to fit 4 neighborhoods.
  8. This game is likely going to be swingy but attempts were made to try give balance to the game.
  9. This game will be a 11:4 Town to Scum with 1 Traitor who gains the scum kill if last alive. [15v]
  10. This game will be a 10: Town to Scum. [13v]

DecisionsDay 2 Decisions:
(1) Voting for a lynch is now done by secret ballot, vote count is hidden from players, player with most votes gets lynched from here on out. Neighborhoods will now get their own abilities they can bid for.
(2) Votes can be sold to other players for resources. Players who sell their vote cannot buy a vote for that day. If you buy a vote, you cannot sell your vote for the day.
Day 3 Decisions:
(1) Neighborhoods are now open during the day.
(2) Abilities sold are now known who got the ability and what amount it sold for. This is true in neighborhoods if they have items that can be bid on.
Day 4 Decisions:
(1) All players get $1000 resources.
(2) Game continues on with no changes.
Day 5 Decisions:
(1) Game speed will now be that of a Blitz. 72 hour day/24 hour night.
(2) Game speed will now be sped up to 7 days for Day. 24 hour night.
(3) Game Deadline removed

Townie: No powers.
Roleblocker: Block a player from performing their role.
Doctor: Heal a player to prevent their death.
Jail keep: Blocks a player from performing their role and protects them from any killing actions
Rolestopper: Blocks all actions used on a player, doesn't stop player from performing ability.
Redirector: Focuses on player and changes their target to another selected player.
Deflector: All actions targeting a player will instead target to another selected player.
Bus Driver: Switches the positions of two players. All actions targeting one will instead target the other.
Motion Detector: Sees if a player performs an action but not what action they performed.
Follower: Sees what type of action player performed.
Gladiator: Can make it so only yourself or target is viable lynch players for a day.
Double voter: Has two votes instead of one.
Role Cop: Can see the role specifics of a player. This will not give alignment of player.
Vanilla Cop: Can see if player is power role or not.
Alignment Cop: Can check a players alignment
Commuter: Can leave the town at night making themselves untargetable.
Tracker: Sees who a player visits.
Watcher: Sees who visited an intended target
Bodyguard: guards a player and if targeted player is attacked will take their place.
Neighborizer: gains a neighborhood chat with target that is open during nights. Chat will close on your death.
X Back Up: Gains the role of a player when they die
Voyeur: Sees what actions were performed on a player.
Jack of all Trades: A combination of roles, this can be up to three specific roles in one.

Spoiler: Modifiers
Unstoppable: Your action cannot be stopped.
Ninja: Your action cannot be seen by normal investigations.
Aware: You will be informed if you succeeded in performing your action
Loud: Your target will know you visited them.
Heavy: The thread will be informed of what type of action you performed.
Hated: It will take one less vote to lynch you. Will be disabled in LYLO/MYLO
Loved: It will take one more vote to lynch you. Will be disabled in LYLO/MYLO
X Shot: Number of available shots of an ability.
Even or Odd Night: Can only use ability on even or odd nights.
Novice: Cannot use ability Day 1/Night 1
Weak: If you use your action on anti town player you will die.
Loyal: Your action will only succeed if used on your own faction.
Encryptor: Your chats will be open day and night
Framer: When you visit a player all other investigations on the player become Inverted.
Miller: You will appears as Mafia to all Alignment checks.
Honest: You will appear as Town to all Alignment checks.
Compulsive: Players must act at night.
Janitor: Players that you visit if they die at night or the following day of your visit, role will not be published.
Bulletproof: You cannot be killed at night by normal means.
Lynchproof: You cannot be lynched by normal means.
Death proof: You cannot die by normal means.
Ascetic: You cannot be investigated
Delayed: Your action will not be performed till the following night.
Macho: You cannot be healed or protected
Night Specific: Your action only works on a certain night.



That will be public info on the role madness possible modifiers and roles.

Well I wasn't the one who suggested/did the signup for this game and I wouldn't have signed up without the hydra (because I only sign up to games I'm invited to and nobody invited me to this game), so without the hydra I imagine I'd be out of the game.
