Micro Games Queue (Old)

Micro Queue Rules
Adapted from Aristophanes and my own Normal Queue
General:
- This queue is for games between 4 to 9 players.These games can be Open, Normal or Themed.
- This queue is only for games currently in signups. If you have a question about a currently running game (which is any game once I have declared it full), please PM me. If you wish to pre-in for a game not yet in signups, PM that game's Moderator.
- The only acceptable posts for this thread are /in for x, or /in to mod. Ego posts, and other off-topic posts will get you warned and if you continue, a time out from the thread.
- I will announce when games go into sign ups. Until there is an active game, any /in to sign up will be ignored.
Players:
- Please post in this thread to be added to the game currently in signups. When there are two games taking signups at the same time, please specify which game you are signing up for (e.g., "/in mith's game" or "/in for the Vengeful game"). In those occasions, non-specific signups such as "/in" or "/in for next" or "/mod" will be ignored.
- If you change your mind after signing up for a game (but before it begins), please create a new post saying so (e.g., "/out"). Do not edit your older post, because I may not see the change.
- There is no experience requirement to sign up for a Micro game. However, playing through a Newbie game is recommended.
- There is no limit to how many Micro games you can be in, but I would suggest you are sensible. Failure to keep up with games could lead to sanctions.
- All pre-ins need to be confirmed in thread within 48 hours of the game being announced.
- Hydras are allowed in the Micro Queue, but I would appreciate you letting me know who is in the hydra. Please don't use hydras to circumvent bans or player limits, though!
Moderators:
- You may not moderate a Micro game without modding either an Open or Normal game first. If you have off-site experience, permission can be sought from mith.
- In order to sign up to mod, please complete the following:

- Game Type is asking whether the game is a Open/Semi-Open or Closed, Themed or Normal Setup.
- Backup Mods, Co-Mods, and Reviewers are not required, but are recommended, for Micro Games (Normal games are the exception to this rule and must be reviewed for Normalcy).
- Games qualify as "Bastard" if any of the following applies: "cults, mid-game alignment changes, moderator lies that cannot be reasonably anticipated (for example, Godfather, Tailor, Miller, Ninja, and mechanics like that are generally fine, but telling someone they are a reflexive doctor when they're actually a PGO is not), secret win conditions, un-divulged non-randomness in player role/alignment generation, direct moderator influence during the game."
- Other Restrictions are where Mods can announce if they will be applying any player restrictions to their game.
- The Description section is where flavour, odd, public mechanics, which Open Setup is being used, and any other Mod notes may be expressed.
- You may mod two Micros concurrently. If you wish to do this, you must wait for your first Micro to finish signups before your second can begin.
- Whilst not necessary, a back-up mod is always recommended. Similarly, I recommend that you create a mod topic which I also have access to, should something unavoidable happen.
- Pre-ins are limited to 2/3 of the player list.
- If your game fails to fill within 14 days, it will be pulled from signups.
- Once full, you have 7 days to create a game thread and send out role PMs.
- Micros count as 1/2 of a game's experience for modding purposes.
- Please respond promptly to all PMs I send you. If you do not, you may be removed from the list when it becomes your turn, as I will assume you are no longer on the site.
- Your game number should either be in your thread title or in the first post. This is extremely helpful for archiving purposes.
- It is also very helpful if your first post stays up to date (even after the game is completed) with players who are dead and alive. It helps keep track of limits for players, and we like to have a record of how games have finished.
- Moderators have the right to reject players from their player lists, if they feel that player will be detrimental to the game. The moderator should ask the List Mod as well, who will then communicate the information to the player. Please do not abuse this.
