Description:
Is there any other information players should know about your game?

This is a Mafia game with 1 beginning, but 2 endings!

The game will be based on Express Mafia.
2 Mafia Goons vs 7 Vanilla Townies. If scum is lynched on Day 1, town win. Otherwise, scum will send a Mafia goon to World A (a PT) along with two townies, and the other Mafia Goon will bring another two townies into World B. World A and World B will proceed as two concurrent LyLo games hidden from each other.

In each world, I will expose the alignments of each player in the other world. The townies not in either world (including the lynched townie) are treestumped and may post in thread but cannot see posts made by anyone else.

Who will win if Town wins one subgame but not the other? Also, what is the win condition for the treestumped Townies?

This is a tricky part of the setup

I want town to play to their win condition, so townies must try to win their subgame, but they win if town wins either subgame, and they get a double win if they win both subgames.

The wincon of the treestumped townies is to get town to win in both subgames. They cannot sacrifice one to win the other.

The Mafia’s wincon is trickier, they must indepentently try to win their subgames but they win if either one wins, and they get a double win if they both win.


I realise wincons in this game will be chaos, but that does not prevent me from trying this game :P It probably won’t be a problem if the players are playing to an honor system.

So if the town wins one, and the mafia wins one, everyone wins? Or do the town in sub A win if town win sub A and lose if town lose sub A, no matter what happens in sub B?
What is a "double win"?
What if you just made it so an alignment has to win both games to win, and if both alignments win 1 then they tie?

I think the easiest way to put it is
The winner of each subgame wins one point
And each faction tries to get as many points as possible

And I’ll count a town win on Day 1 as town getting 2 points.

Let’s not clog the queue thread. If you want to break my game, do it in my game :wink:

I added the red text - there ARE alignment changes mid-game, de facto, and in a very very unpleasant way that is 100% bastard.

Let me rephrase that: If the Town fails to lynch Mafia Day 1(a common occurence) then not only the lynched Townie has to win 2 LYLO's instead of one, but
the
mafia can convert two other townies at their own pleasure into massively role and wincon disadvantaged players
who have to win two LYLO's they can neither vote in nor hear, only speak via the moderator, while the others have to win only one LYLO and get full alignment information about the other LYLO in addition.
