Setup Info

There will be

There will be publicly revealed powers at the start of the game. Instead of lynching, all players will choose by majority vote a power to use every Day. Each player also has one vote to use in powers.

Here's a sample of the powers that are available for this game:

Spoiler: Lynch

Choose by majority vote a player. That player is eliminated from the game.

Spoiler: Treestump

Choose by majority vote a player. That player will no longer be able to vote, but may still continue to post in the thread.

Spoiler: Vengeful

Choose by majority vote a player to eliminate from the game. That player can choose another player to eliminate from the game. Mafia cannot kill after this power.

Spoiler: Veto

Choose by majority vote a group of four players. The Mafia must strongman kill two players from the selected group that Night.

Spoiler: Coalition

Selectable only with less than 3 Mafia dead.
Town by majority vote choose a majority group of players (half living players rounded down plus one, equal to power selection threshold) in the game. If all chosen players are town, town immediately win. Otherwise, the game continues into Night phase with no deaths, and the Mafia cannot kill that Night.

A total of 15 different powers, including Lynch, are available.
All powers (including those not shown here) can be used only once each, except for

Lynch

, which may be used any number of times.

By default, the Mafia can kill one player each Night, but some powers can change this.

Deadlines

Power selection each Day will last 10 days. Once a power is selected, the Day will last a further 7 days.
Some Powers will cause the game to have pauses, called Commercial Breaks in this game. These will last 24 hours each unless otherwise stated. The deadline will be paused during Commercial Breaks, and it will be reset to 3 days if it was less than 3 days.
I will use standard prod timers: I will prod people who haven't posted for 48 hours, and seek a replacement if they don't respond within 24 hours.

Hydra Policy

I will use an unusual hydra policy for this game: If there are any hydras in the game at all, there will be a minimum of 2 hydras, and a maximum of 7. If the minimum requirement is not met, then no hydras will be allowed into this game at all.

Additionally, if you don't like hydras, you may VOTE: Veto Hydras when you sign up. This will increase the minimum hydra limit by one, so if this causes the minimum hydra limit to be higher than the number of hydras in the game, they will be vetoed out. As a consequence, if the minimum hydra limit is raised over the maximum limit of 7, then no hydras will be allowed to join this game at all.
