GAME CONCEPT

This is the

open micros with a twist

series fivequel, a series focusing on adding confounding, ruinous, and evil mechanics to existing open micro setups, often involving playing multiple short open micros (hence the alternate title "Two-in-One").

In this installment, two games of newd3 are rolled at the start. each player's first role PM is assigned immediately. upon

dying

in this game, you will be added to a PT called "the waiting room" and be assigned your second, alternate reality role PM. This second game will exist in a certain state of purgatory until the first game reaches its conclusion and all players are added to the waiting room. namely, there will be

no day phase deadlines

. however,

prod timers will be enforced

. votes will be counted. eliminations

can

happen before all players are added and receive their second role PM. once that happens, the second game will officially start in earnest and the current day will have 4 RL days deadline before returning to full 7 day long Day Phases in the future.

lastly, as a final additional special rule: the scum team of the waiting room will immediately have access. however, they will not be able to post in the waiting room until they die aboveground. during this period, you may think of them as assassins operating from the shadows -- if an elim is reached before the aboveground game concludes, there will be a normal 2-day night phase in which the scum team will select a kill.
