General Rules/Game Etiquette

1. Obey all site-wide rules.
   
2. Talking outside of the thread about this game is forbidden, unless your role specifically gives you permission. (Eg. scum PTs.)
   
3. Quoting
   any
   private communication into the game thread is not allowed. You are allowed to quote private moderation communications into any scum PTs, or notes PTs you have access to.
   
4. Flavor is merely flavor in this game. Do not try to make arguments using it, or I will stop posting it.
   
5. Follow the golden rule, (do unto others as you would have them do unto you), at all times. I understand mafia can get heated, but keep it civil.
   
6. If you can somehow edit/delete your posts, don't.
   
7. Play towards your win-condition at all times. Don't gamethrow.
   
8. You may use the following colors, provided you are not attempting to impersonate me or my co-mod:

   in the event something happens.
   
9. I reserve the right to update these rules as I see fit. Rule updates will be announced publicly in thread.

Activity/Prods and V/LA

1. At least once every 48 hours, you
   must post relevant, game-advancing content,
   otherwise you will be prodded. This is extended to 72 hours if you are V/LA.
   
2. If you accumulate three prods OR you do not reply within 24hrs of a prod, you will be replaced.
   
3. Up to two (2) prodges are allowed per prod.
   
4. All V/LAs must be declared in thread, or via the V/LA tags.
   I prefer you declare it in thread however.
   
   
5. If you will have an excessively long V/LA or will not have regular access to the internet/forums for extended periods of time, please request replacement instead.

Deadlines/Player Actions

1. Unless told otherwise, each day will last two weeks (14 days), and each night will last two days.
   
2. If the day/night is extended for any reason, I will post that in thread.
   
3. If you possess any actions, you must submit it via PM, or PT, otherwise it will be treated as if you took no action.
   
4. If you may target multiple people, you must specify which action targets which player, otherwise I will disregard them.

Voting

1. A simple majority is required to yeet, (half the player list, rounded down, plus one).
   
2. If you use an abbrevation of a player's name, please make sure others can understand who you are specifically referring to. Kori is fine, for example, but K is not.
   
3. If it looks like a vote, it is a vote, and it will be cast on whoever I think you're trying to vote.
   
4. Unvoting before revoting isn't required, but appreciated.

Setup Specific Rules

1. The exact setup I am drawing from can be found here.
   
2. The rand may contain any role from Post 0 to Post 11,000.
   
3. The final setup will be guaranteed to have at least
   four townies
   and
   three members of one informed scum faction, and one of any faction, as long as it’s anti-town.
   If this number is not met, I will change alignments to guarantee such. You will know if this happens, if you submit a different faction than you originally got.
   
4. Any third-party role achieving their win-condition does not automatically end the game, unless the role specifies it ends the game.
   
5. All groupscum may commit any personal actions they possess, and any factional abilities. Using multiple personal abilities in a night requires multitasking.
   
6. All groupscum are fully informed of their partners roles, and may submit on behalf of them.
   
7. Cult may not recruit groupscum with living partners.
   
8. This game features Greatest Idea Mafia discards. You will be sent three role PMs. You will keep one to become your alignment, one to become your abilities, and one to be publicly discarded.
   
9. Serial Killers have bulletproof by default as part of their vanilla role.
   
10. Korina Cult Clause is in effect. This means Cult are guaranteed to have a Cult Leader if none generates, as part of the setup.
    
11. Standardize winconditions for all factions are listed below:

    : You win if all threats to you are dead, and you are still alive, or were alive in the previous phase; in the event of all players are dead, regardless of when you died; or if either scenario is inevitable.
    

    Survivor

    : You win if you are alive during endgame.
    

    Jester

    : You win if you get yeeted.
    

    Unjester

    : You win if you are not yeeted.
    

    Condemner

    : You win and exit the game if your target is yeeted.
    

    Savior

    : You win if your target isn't yeeted. You win and exit the game if your target dies in any way other than yeet.

1. I am V/LA every Thursday and Friday. If you have something urgent requiring my attention, (such as a question, or majority being reached), please either PM me on the site, or DM me on Discord. 2. Respect all users pronouns. If you are not sure about someone's pronouns, please ask, or default to they/them.
   
3. You aren't dead until you are told by the mod you are dead, and your role has been posted.
   
4. When you are dead, you are allowed to make one contentless "Bah!" post.
   
5. Follow the spirit of the rules. These rules are not perfect. If you think it should be a rule, assume it is one.
