Game Name:
Lynchpin 8p
Game Type:
Open (Lynchpin, 6 town, 2 scum)
Game Size:
8

Co/Backup Mod:
nobody; as a symmetrical Open, the setup should be easy to recover by a listmod if necessary
Reviewed By:
Open Setup Reviews

Hydrae Allowed?:
Yes.
Other Restrictions?:
This game is a bit more complex than you'd find in the Newbie Queue, but not by much, and should serve as a reasonable first step up from it. As such, this would work fine as your second or third game onsite, and is not a ridiculous choice for a player's first game (or for an alt account that wants experience), so all are welcome.
Deadlines?:
Callforjudgement's Micro Deadlines. That means fast prods (32 hours), but you're allowed to miss the occasional prod if necessary; and deadlines that will be short unless you use your 1-shot deadline extenders, which brings them to a normal length.
Is it possible your game has any of the following bastard roles or mechanics?
No.

Description:
Yet another "the Micro queue is running low again" unflavoured Open (also, this is a setup that I think could do with another run). It's mostly just a vanilla 6:2 setup; the twist is that the scum have to protect a specific townie (of their choice) from the lynch (who isn't in the scumteam and doesn't know the scum are protecting them), increasing town EV and making associative tells easier to find.

Note that at the typical pace of signups, the game would likely be starting some time around Christmas; the confirmation phase of Lynchpin can be fairly tricky to handle as it is (as the scum have to make a decision pre-game), and starting the game
at
Christmas would thus likely be near-impossible. As such, I will not formally start the game until 27 December, even if it fills before then.

I wouldn't recommend creating a large hydra unless you have established experience with smaller ones. What normally happens is that most of the heads flake and sometimes there's even a need to find replacements; additionally, that much hydra dissonance means that you typically won't play all that well.

Game Name:
Tiny Blitz Series: The One I Cannot Kill
Game Type:
Open (The One I Cannot Kill)
Game Size:
3

Co/Backup Mod:
None.
Reviewed By:
Nobody's posted in the Open Setup Discussion thread, unfortunately.

Hydrae Allowed?:
No; they would somewhat defeat the point of a three-player game.
Other Restrictions?:
This is a rather experimental game, and thus not a good choice for your first game onsite (or if you dislike playing in experimental games). Other than that, no restrictions.
Deadlines?:
This is a Blitz game
, 96-hour deadline. Do not sign up if you're uncomfortable with deadlines that fast. (As a single-Day setup, this shouldn't be much of a commitment.) This will
not
be using my usual deadline rules. (Again, it's a 3p. Complex deadline rules seem over the top.)
Is it possible your game has any of the following bastard roles or mechanics?
No. It's an Open setup, so you can check for yourself whether you're comfortable with the setup before signing up.

Description:
Can a 3p have an informed minority, and enough of a difference in optimal scum play versus optimal town play to make scumhunting viable? I don't know, but I'm at least going to try to find out. Also, we haven't had a Tiny in ages; and very small games seem like a good fit for the Blitz format.

This is a 2:1 setup with a minor twist: scum can only hammer one of the townies (chosen randomly; the scum know who it is they can and can't hammer). Trying to hammer the wrong townie will get them modkilled. Scum are allowed to cast non-hammer votes for the "wrong townie" (but do not have to), and will win if they hammer the correct townie or if either townie hammers the other.

Just a reminder: my game has 96-hour deadlines, and does not use my normal deadline rules. Please take this into account when signing up.

Micro 853 is over already. Second-fastest game ever.

(I got lucky that all three players were online at once.)

Game Name:
Nomination Mafia 8p
Game Type:
Open (setup here)
Game Size:
8

Co/Backup Mod:
I don't have a backup, but will give Micc access to the game's private topics so that he can nominate a backup if something happens to me
Reviewed By:
Open Setup Discussion thread

Hydrae Allowed?:
No
Other Restrictions?:
No other restrictions. This game is a little mechanically unusual, so might not be ideal for a player's first game, but should be OK for newer players. I may reject players who have a history of replacing out of (or being force-replaced out of) my games.
Deadlines?:
Callforjudgement's Micro Deadlines; Day deadlines will be initially short (Blitz-like), but each player will have a 1-shot deadline extension, which will allow the players to increase Day deadlines to a normal length if necessary
Is it possible your game has any of the following bastard roles or mechanics?
No

Description:
An 8p game with the Nomination Mafia mechanic. The Mafia don't directly have a kill; rather, they choose three player slots, and force town to choose which one of those slots dies. A good setup for WIFOM fans and for players who dislike getting nightkilled.
