Seeing as there's a lot of SEs signed up and not many Newbies, I'll be willing to take a Newbie spot instead if needed.

Not sure how the SE thing works (I saw it once before...), but can SEs /in as Newbies? Or is it that ICs can /in as SEs?
I saw it somewhere, and now I've lost it...

If you are qualified to be SE, you have to enter as SE. An IC-qualified player can still enter as SE iirc.

Yep. You can still replace-in to newbie spots, but you can't take a newbie slot in the queue.

I'm currently modding my first game now so trust me on this: Only experienced mods should be able to run newbies. I wouldn't trust myself to run one until I had already modded through an entire game.
