More than a game, Tarot uPick is an exploration of self, circle and world.
Tarot uPick 2 will delve into the entanglement of free will and destiny from the very moment you choose your cards.

uPick infoThis game will use the Steampunk Tarot Deck. The game will feature some unique tarot-inspired mechanics.

You will choose three cards and I will design your role based upon your choices. Submit the choices in your order of preference.

The Steampunk Tarot deck by Barbara Moore and Aly Fell is based on the Ryder Waite deck, so you can use R-W meanings to select your card picks. If you have any questions (or if I know your card has unique or idiosyncratic meanings or symbolism in the Steampunk deck), we can discuss when you're ready to make your card picks.

The Judgement card shows a number of naked men, women and children rising up from their graves, arms outspread and responding to the trumpet call of the archangel, Gabriel, who hovers high above them. The people are appealing to the angel, ready to be judged by the power of the Universe. In the background, there are huge mountains, or even tidal waves, which signify insurmountable obstacles and the impossibility of avoiding judgment. The ocean represents the end of the river that flows through the Major Arcana, starting with the Empress. Gabriel’s banner is red on white, the same as the Magician’s clothing. As with everything in life, the beginning is woven irrevocably into the end and the end eventually leads to a new beginning. The planetary ruler of this card is Pluto, the ruler of the underworld.

I have all the card picks now, thanks!

My goal is to have my first draft design created by end of day Monday. This may include role PMs, but may not. If it does include role PMs and bork thinks the setup looks fair and workable, then the game could start by mid next week. If no on either of those conditions, then the game will probably start late next week.

I'll keep you posted as I hit (or don't hit) my milestones.
