I'd think that was obvious.

The only realistic way that town can win is by taking out two mafia by vengekilling which seems really difficult.

Almost50 pisskop: Overall, that's a townie slot. Don't ask for specifics because with PK everything can be interpreted either way. It's probably WHEN he says/does things that matter, so it's more of a matter of conception rather than solid reasoning.

Well, they can always get them lynched. The two Mafia can't claim because then they get venged the minute a VT gets lynched.

If a VT venges another VT they screw themselves over so badly though. Even if they get to lylo, they would need to get the remaining scum to first lynch another scum, and then also venge incorrectly.

Oddly, I think I would love to be a VT in this set-up, precisely because it sounds so challenging.

Doubtful. Traitors would be really stupid to lynch a mafia, rather if the mafia does claim he escapes the lynch and the lynch can end up on someone else prefereably VT. If the Vengekill takes out mafia at least it is 1 for 1 trade.

One game you win by being as town as possible and its up to mafia to play to blend in, like normal.
the focus of this game is to townhunt, not scumhunt


another is about town under unusual circumstances and forced to blend in. by balancing scum meta with the need to be political and the need to focus on one group.

town in traitor game are essrntially forced to hope the uniformed and informed scum cross wires.

That's true. What I wanted to say was this game will be something like reverse of what generally happens in a mafia game - town will be the ones attempting to blend-in (with a little bit of town-hunting) and scum will be doing most of the analysis.

True. But then if they get both Mafia run up to the point where they are forced to out themselves, they've won if they still have... it's either two or three members; the original post doesn't say whether town need one of their members alive to win.

I've just realised this isn't correct at all. Town can win by killing all traitors
or
killing all "normal" Mafia, so the scum would need to have at least one traitor and at least one regular Mafia alive in lylo, and getting either of them lynched would result in a town victory. And if town don't need a member alive to win, it's actually autowin for them.

be sure unless they're the Neapolitan and have identified all their other living teammates, or are the last townie alive. Town are kind-of in a lose-lose situation wrt how towny or scummy they should act - too town and they risk being lynched or venged by scum; too scummy and they risk being venged by their own faction; nullish and they risk being investigated by the Mafia Neapolitan.

Reverse Mafia

Game follows this setup.

-The wincons of the game have been reversed. Mafia want to get lynched and to Town want to reach parity with mafia.
-This means that people want be act as town as possible, so they can get lynched.
-Players may only vote for themselves in order to hammer.
-This game contans no jesters, nor is in any other way bastard
-The game is nightless, and thus there are no nightkills


-For this game:

- 1 Week days, 2 day nights
- No hydras
- Because this game is so focused, I'll allow WotC. PM me, dont pu it in thread.
- There will be scum daychat, and I will release it upon completion. You may discuss with me any edits that might be made.
