Sudoku, I believe you'll still be placed in the newbie queue, it's not related to your actual mafia experience, just how many newbie games you've played here. (Basically, the queue gives priority for being in newbie games to people who are new to the site.)

Timezones shouldn't be an issue because most mods (particularly in newbies but also in general) use 2 week deadlines, so you post when you're online and people respond when they're online, and there's enough time for everybody to get their thoughts in. This site almost never uses plurality lynches so timezone isn't an issue there either.
