From what I understood, there's a penalty only if you don't take care of it as a team and a moderator has to take action.

There is no penalty if you have to replace a teammate. However, there is a half a game penalty if I or one of the game mods has to find a replacement for you.

Yes. I mean if it's abusive, I'll put a stop to it, but mostly yes you generally can replace at will. Note that you can't use your own teammates to replace in to games except for the one allowed Day 1 or Day 2 swap.

It started 6 weeks before school ends/finals. I don't know that it should've made much of a difference, but I also don't know your study/work ethic. I'm sure zoraster will take that into account next time, but he also gave up a lot of his own free time generously putting this together for everyone to have fun. Don't worry, my team lost a game, too.
