Spring Waltz

Setup

3 Mafia Gentlemen/Ladies

vs

14 Town Gentlemen/Ladies, Open setup
The game will include four phases,

pre-dance

,

first dance

,

intermission

, and

second dance

.

Pre-dance

will last 4 days,

intermission

will last 2 days, and

dances

will last 8 days.
One

Town-aligned player

will be mod-confirmed at the beginning of the

pre-dance

.
During the

pre-dance

, a

Gentleman

can ask a

Lady

to the dance in thread. Each

Lady

can accept only one dance proposal.
At the end of the

pre-dance

, any player who doesn't have a dance partner will be asked to leave the dance. (He/She dies and his/her alignment flips) Game will then continue to the

first dance

.
There is no limit on how many

Ladies

each

Gentlemen

can ask out, but it must be done publicly.
Once a

Lady

accepts a dance proposal, her partner may not ask any other

Ladies

to the dance. His earlier proposals to other

Ladies

will be voided.
Each dance pair will become Lovers, and they will be given a private topic to discuss the game in.

Pre-dance

will be declared to be over once there are no more additional dance pairs possible.
During the

dances

, normal nightless lynch mechanics will take over. If the Mafia makes up 50% or more of the remaining players at any point, Mafia immediately wins. If the Mafia are lynched, then Town wins. If the game runs out of time and at least one Mafia is still alive, then Mafia wins.
After 8 days, or when there are 12 players remaining,

first dance

will end. During the

intermission

, Mafia may secretly force one of the dance pairs to leave. (They die and their alignment will flip)
Also, at any point during the

dance

, a player may voluntarily leave the

dance

(he/she dies and his/her alignment flips), which forces his/her partner to leave the

dance

as well.
Mafia will be given a PT, in which they can talk to each other during any phase of the game.

Timeline

Pre-dance

One player gets mod-confirmed as Town.
Gentlemen ask the Ladies to the dance. Ladies accept at their discretion.
It will last 4 days, or whenever 8 pairs are formed.

First dance

Nightless lynch mechanics.
You may leave the dance at any point, which means you and your partner will immediately flip and die.
It will last 8 days, or whenever 6 pairs are remaining.

Intermission

Mafia makes a night kill.
Main game thread is closed.
It will last 2 days.

Second dance

Nightless lynch mechanics.
You may leave the dance at any point, which means you and your partner will immediately flip and die.
It will last 8 days, or until a win con is achieved.

Hydras are not allowed.
This game will be run with Wisdom of the One. If you think there is a player who will be problematic, let me know and I will have that player removed.
