This game is based on SpyreX's old Pick Your Power series of games from many years ago.

Game-Specific Mechanics

This setup is an open setup. There are 4 mafia members and 14 town members. Each player receives 100 points that they may spend however they choose amongst 30 different 1-shot roles. Whoever spends the most points on each role will receive that role.

In case of a tie for the highest amount spent, no one will receive that role.

After signups are complete, players will be sent their alignment.

After

they are sent alignment, players will have 48 hours to choose how they spend their points. The mafia private topic will be open during this time so that the mafia can discuss and coordinate. Players should send their draft PMs in the following format:

Gunsmith: 45
Tracker A: 20
Tracker B: 30
Ninja: 5

If the numbers don't add up to 100, I'll ask you to re-send it. You must spend all 100 points.
Mafia may

not

both kill and use another ability in the same night. Mafia will have daytalk (as will neighborhoods).

Spoiler: The Roles

1-Shot Cop

Target another player. If successful, you will be told their alignment.

1-Shot Gunsmith

Target another player. If successful, you will be told whether or not they carry a gun.

1-Shot Tracker A

Target another player. If successful, you will be told what player(s), if any, they targeted.

1-Shot Tracker B

Target another player. If successful, you will be told what player(s), if any, they targeted.

1-Shot Watcher

Target another player. If successful, you will be told what player(s), if any, targeted them.

1-Shot Self-Watcher

Activate this ability targeting yourself. If successful, you will be told what other player(s), if any, targeted you.

1-Shot Follower A

Target another player. If successful, you will be told what ability, if any, they used.

1-Shot Follower B

Target another player. If successful, you will be told what ability, if any, they used.

1-Shot Auction Cop

Target another player. If successful, you will be told how much they spent on each role in the auction.

1-Shot Friendly Neighbor

Target another player. If successful, they will be told that you are a friendly neighbor, and they will be told your alignment.

1-Shot Doctor

Target another player. If successful, you will prevent a single kill targeting them that night.

1-Shot Self-Doctor

Activate this ability targeting yourself. If successful, you will prevent a single kill target yourself that night.

1-Shot Vanilla Doctor

Target another player. If successful and if that player is vanilla, you will prevent a single kill targeting them that night.

1-Shot Power Doctor

Target another player and a role. If successful and that player has that role, you will prevent a single kill targeting them that night.

1-Shot Role Doctor

Target a role. If successful, you will prevent a single kill targeting each player with that role.

1-Shot Double Doctor

Target two other players. If successful, you will prevent a single kill targeting each of them that night.

1-Shot Vanilla Vigilante

Target another player. If successful and if that player is vanilla, you will kill them.

1-Shot Power Vigilante

Target another player and a role. If successful and that player has that role, you will kill them.

1-Shot Paranoid Vigilante

Target another player. If successful and no other player targets that player on the same night, you will kill them.

1-Shot Day Vigilante

Kill: player

publicly in the thread to kill a player.

1-Shot Roleblocker A

Target another player. If successful, that player's action will fail.

1-Shot Roleblocker B

Target another player. If successful, that player's action will fail.

1-Shot Double Roleblocker

Target two other players. If successful, both of their actions will fail.

1-Shot Role-specific blocker

Target a role. If successful, any player who won any copy of that role in the auction will be blocked.

1-Shot Strongman

This ability may be used only in conjunction with the mafia kill; if so, the kill will ignore all blocking roles and protective roles.

1-Shot Ninja

This ability may be used only in conjunction with the mafia kill; if so, the kill will ignore all Trackers, Watchers and Followers.

1-Shot Double Neighborizer A

Target two other players. If successful, you will gain a neighborhood with both of those players that you may post in at all times.

1-Shot Double Neighborizer B

Target two other players. If successful, you will gain a neighborhood with both of those players that you may post in at all times.

1-Shot Double Neighborizer C

Target two other players. If successful, you will gain a neighborhood with both of those players that you may post in at all times.

1-Shot Echo

Target another player. If successful, you will gain a 1-shot copy of the ability they used on that night, excluding the mafia kill.

Spoiler: Clarifications on certain roles

Any role that would receive a result and the double neighborizers will be explicitly informed if their abilities fail. The echo will be told that they didn't receive any ability (which they will also be told if they target someone who did not use anything). No other roles are informed.

Gunsmith: will return positive on mafia, vanilla vig, power vig, paranoid vig, dayvig, or an echo who has copied any of those abilities (it will resolve after the echo).

Follower: will learn whatever was used,

including

the mafia kill. If that player made a ninja kill that night, they will be told the player did not use an ability.

Power Doctor/Power Vigilante: these roles do not need to specify

which

copy of a role was won (so you can target implosion and Tracker, rather than implosion and Tracker B).

Ninja/Strongman: if the same mafia member possesses both of these, they may be used in conjunction on one kill.

Echo: can copy anything except for the mafia kill, strongman and ninja. They will copy the action their target took even if that action fails.

WOTC will also be in effect, set at 3 (if 3 people PM me asking to remove someone from the player list that they refuse to play with, I will remove them).
