signups for this game are slightly more complicated than usual, so read this whole thing!
like many other parts of this game, the number of people who will play in this game is TBD! (that's "to be decided" in case you're unfamiliar with the acronym.) once there are at least 14 people signed up to play, you can post VOTE: stop signups in this thread, and once a majority of players have done so, signups will end! so, for instance, if we get to 14 players and 8 people immediately vote to stop the signups, then signups will officially be over. signups will also end if more than 72 hours pass without anyone else joining. I reserve the right to reduce that number if needed--if we repeatedly go exactly 71 hours between people signing up, for instance, then it makes more sense just to end it. finally, once 24 players have joined the game, signups will automatically end no matter what!
when you join this game, you also need to answer the following question:
on a scale of 1 to 5, how much control do you want the players to have over the design of this game?
you need to pick a whole number between one and five--no funny business with picking pi or anything like that.once signups end, I will start the game thread, then a bit after that, I will distribute a questionnaire with a variety of questions about the game and about various non-game related topics. once everyone has filled out their questionnaire, I will produce a setup, which will be reviewed by Ircher. once he decides he likes it, the game will start!
keep in mind that the first TBD Mafia featured players being able to make game choices after dying; I obviously can't tell you whether that will be the case for
this
game since that was the result of the questionnaire, but you should assume that this game will feature that kind of thing.I reserve the right to deny anyone's /in. if someone else joins the game who you think shouldn't be in it for some reason, send me a private message explaining why, and I will take that into consideration and act on it if I think it's reasonable.

I reserve the right to replace players out of order in this game. I'm noting this now, because as per the replacement thread, doing so is allowed as long as that's something that's decided in advance.
