Anyone the player attempts to target will automatically be replaced with someone who's mafia instead. Just randomly pick a mafia to shoot. If there are no mafia left, randomly shoot someone. Don't tell the player this.

Since when is Jester bastard? That's one of the least bastard roles IMO. The entire point of jester is to play scummily, so you get lynched. If you suspect someone of being a jester, you ignore them. That's not really bastard.
