One-Shot Activated Combined Chosen Mason-Random Masonizer

Once per game, during the night, you may choose to become a Mason-type role that cannot be an alignment of your choosing (this cannot be your alignment)
When you activate this ability, recruit a random player to be this Mason-type role. (This must pick someone who is not already in the PT, and is not of the alignment that is excluded from the PT.

Arsonist Cartel


The
Arsonist Cartel
has a factional Arsonist ability. That is, they have a factional ability to prime a player and a factional ability to ignite all primed players.

Arsonist Cartel
win when all threats to the
Arsonist Cartel
are gone and at least one
Arsonist Cartel Member
is still alive, or when nothing can prevent this from occurring.

You do not appear to be aligned with your True Alignment, however you do appear aligned with your False Alignment.

You win if you fulfill your true alignment's goal.

Faction Split (G-Simple Godfather / Protected Miller)


If you are not Town, you are a G-Simple Godfather:
  • You appear to be aligned with the Town when investigated. In addition, should you target a player who attempted to use an ability, your ability will fail.
If you are Town, you are a Protected Miller:
  • You appear to be aligned with [True Groupscum]. In addition, you are immune to any True Groupscum's factional ability.



Introducing G-Simple and Protected!

G-Simple, or Grand Simple, is the solution to Grandesque Idea Mafia being Role Madness. Should the user use an ability, it will fail if their target attempted to use an ability (so, it can't be easily counteracted by a Roleblocker working together with it.

Protected protects from factional abilities from the True Groupscum. However, it does not protect from any other faction's abilities, factional or otherwise.


With this role, I wanted a risk reward system, that also considers the player's faction, as a Miller on Groupscum is either redundant or more harmful (as you can be found by two different sources instead of one) Also, Godfather doesn't make much sense on Town.

You are protected from kills that target you. You cannot have your alignment, role, or wincon changed. Your actions are not visible to Tracker-like and Watcher-like roles.
Each Night, you must target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will learn which other players targeted that player with a killing action that Night. The results will be posted by the moderator for all to see.

Correspondent is a temporary name, like a War Correspondent.
I borrowed TemporalLich's modifier from the original thread to enhance the role.
This was adapted from my submission to the original thread.

Each night you may target a player. Assuming no interference to your action you will kill the player. If this action would kill a player, and no other sources cause the targeted player's death, that player's death will be delayed until the end of the next day phase (dying at the same time as the next elimination.)

Faction Introduction:
Apparitions

The apparition faction has a factional possess ability.
Each apparition member can only successfully possess once, and no more than one apparition member can possess in a single night.
This ability is not considered a killing ability, thus possession cannot be protected against by normal means.

When a player is possessed, the apparition member loses their current role and gains the target's role. The target dies and is not flipped.

The Apparitions win by eliminating all other factions.

You are bulletproof, cannot be roleblocked, and have First Action Resolution.
Your targets are publicized, and if your target takes no action your action will fail.




First Action Resolution (FAR) and Last Action Resolution (LAR) are as follows:

When all night actions are being resolved, all players with FAR are resolved first, then all players without LAR, then all players with LAR.

If a player who could have acted died during the night due to a player with a higher tier than them successfully killing them, they do not get to act. Furthermore, any players who attempted to protect them but had a lower tier than the attacker fails to protect.

If a player attempts to roleblock a player of a higher tier, it will fail, as that player already acted. However, if they targeted a lower tier then it would work.

Each time you take a night action, your action will be modified with either Haste or Lethargic, chosen by whichever modifier did not modify your last action.

Amoeboids

(Benign Groupscum)

The
Amoeboids
are a curious group of alien creatures always seeking to expand their knowledge of solid life, and their library of mimicked forms and functions. They're rather harmless, but their standard approach to learning can be rather disruptive...and slimy.

X-Equivalents

Cop: Xenobiochemist
Masons: S3 (Society for Solidity in Sentience)
Miller: Extra Soft (–)
Godfather: Shapefast (–)
Traitor/Sympathizer: Liquikin

Factional Ability: Assigned Non-Lethal Absorb

At Night, any
Amoeboid
may choose to non-lethally engulf a player. This player will
go missing
without a flip, in the same manner as a Cannibal kill. They will not join the Graveyard.

Once an
Amoeboid
has someone inside them, they copy their power(s) and can use them as their own (but cannot Multitask with their own Personal abilities). They also mimic the player's appearance to all investigative roles. They may return this player to the game on any subsequent night, in a similar manner to a Reviver. They can release one player and go after another in the same Night.

Unless otherwise specified, a single
Amoeboid
can only "hold" 1 player at a time.

If a normal nightkill attempt against an
Amoeboid
succeeds, but they have a player inside them, neither the
Amoeboid
or their prey are killed, but the prey is forcibly released.
Strongman kills will kill the
Amoeboid
, but not the prey.
Elimination during the day kills both.

Win Condition:

If all living
Amoeboids
have a player inside them at the end of a Day phase, they win and leave the game. All absorbed players
return to the game
the next Day, and become Night X Motivated (where X is the Night after they return.)

Third Party Introduction:
Demon


The demon has the factional passive ability to turn any inventions they receive into passive reflexive versions of that ability. These trigger the night after receiving them.

The demon's role is converted into a reflexive version of said role.

The demon wins and exits the game if they are alive when any groupscum faction wins the game.

(Benign 3rd party description has been updated as allowing 3rd party roles that only win with certain factions but not others, this was always the intention, but was poorly worded before)
