Beholder


Each night, you may target a player. You will receive all messages that player received that night as a result of special abilities.

Investigation results, Mailman messages, Friendly Neighbor messages, gained item/fruit notifications, Loud/Announcing notifications, and role/alignment change notifications are examples of what is sent to you. A response to a question asked during the night to the moderator, a night action reminder, and a death message are examples of what is not sent to you.

If the Beholder doesn't receive any messages, give the Beholder a negative result ("didn't see anything"). If the Beholder's action fails, give the Beholder No Result ("your beholding has failed").

Ninjas will only prevent a Beholder from seeing messages that are a result of their special abilities.

The moderator rolls a d6, and then gives you information based on their dice roll.

1 - You are informed of all alignments in the game.
2 - You are informed of how many True Groupscum are in the game.
3 - You are informed of a random True Groupscum player (other than you).
4 - You are informed of a random player other than you's role (but not alignment).
5 - You are informed of how many Benign-aligned players (Benign Groupscum + Benign Third Parties) there are in the game.
6 - You are informed of three random roles other than yours (but not their attached alignments) in the game.

Mod Note: The Role PM and flip say "Informed of Something" and has the ability text specifying how to generate this role's information. The information is sent during pregame as a Results PM.

You do not choose who you target with the modified roll, instead you have a list of at least 4 words. You choose one during the phase you do not use the role (day for most roles, night for day roles) The word you choose will determine who or if you target, and you will learn how your target was decided and who it was. Words may only be chosen once.

Examples of nature of information would be "You are informed that a random Townie (other than you) is Town-aligned.", "You are informed of whether or not multiple True Groupscum factions exist.", or "You are informed whether or not mysterious energy and/or fae magic could potentially exist."

The information you give should be truthful, but the nature of information could be anything that doesn't directly give anything away until it is actually picked.

Fae Magic is the Enchanted Fae Bauble's ability.

Once in the game during night, you may target up to two players with fae magic.

Mod Note: Fae Magic is the Enchanted Fae Bauble's ability.

The Enchanted Fae Bauble is a mysterious item with a mysterious ability that may be active and single target, active and zero target, and/or passive. The Enchanted Fae Bauble may be used as a single target item even if it has no active effect, and it will only visit if it actually wants to visit.

If two players are targeted and the Enchanted Fae Bauble doesn't actually target, the ability is used twice.

If the Enchanted Fae Bauble has a passive effect, this role uses it as if it were Activated.

Each night, you may give someone a piece of coal.

Once in the game during night, you may give something related to target letter (this can include Mailman letters), as determined by the moderator.

Alchemist


You have the following Abilities

Brew - At night you may activate this ability. If you are not roleblocked you will create a potion at random that you have not had before.

Potions
You start with 3 random different potions from this list. They are all one-use inventions.

If you do not brew during the night you may do one of the following instead:
-Drink a potion. This is strong-willed (unable to be roleblocked). The potion effects you.
-Throw a potion. The potion effects another player.
-Give a potion to another player. This may be done multiple times a night.

1- Panacea- Remove all negative lasting effects on the player, and prevent death and roleblocking for that player that night.
2- Hastium - The effected player is made roleblock and control immune.
3. Levitatium- The effected player is made ascetic to non-potion, non-killing actions that night.
4. Ambrosia - The effected player is protected from kills that night.
5. Invisibilium - The effected player commutes (they may still perform their other actions)
6. Polymorphine - The effected player is vanilaised.
7. Slothium - The effected player is roleblocked that night.
8. Flummoxium - The target is confused, causing their target(s) to be randomized from all possible targets that night.
9. Poison - The target is poisoned, causing them to die in 1 night.
10. Midas's Draught- The effected player is turned to gold, killing them. This ignores protective roles and the player turning to gold will be announced in the death message.

A 12 hour ITA (In-Thread Attack) window will happen at least 1 real life day into a Day at a predetermined time at the moderator's discretion.

During an ITA window, anyone may use HURT: tags with a single target specified to use an ITA on a player. Players have one ITA each ITA window unless their role PM says otherwise. ITAs have a 15% chance of succeeding unless their role PM says otherwise.

If an ITA succeeds, the player using the ITA will attempt to kill their target.

This ability is disabled during MeLo and ELo.

New Year Card Writer


Each night, you may send someone a Happy New Year Card.

A Happy New Year Card must have the phrase "New Year" somewhere in it, but is otherwise considered a Mailman letter.

Happy New Year cards may have these items inside them:

Sparkler - A sparkler sends a results PM of "You see bright and colorful sparks." to anyone visiting you the Night you use a sparkler.
New Year Glasses - New year glasses can be used to investigate someone to see if they have received non-factional private communication or not.
Fruit Token - A fruit token may be redeemed for fruit and immediately sent to another player.
New Year's Ball - Using this item will cause a New Year's Ball to drop in the thread. After a predetermined amount of time, the user of the item will receive an Enchanted Fae Bauble and the moderator will announce a new years celebration. This item may only be given out once.
