Dude. I'm Canadian with English and (deep) French Canadian roots. I was moved to the US when I was still a minor. I've never considered myself American.

I don't really hate the US, but the nationalism level creeps me out. I mean, no other country in the world forces kids to say a pledge to the flag every morning. Not even Russia. It's super creepy.

And apparently Texas has an extra state flag pledge. Creepier.
