In an offsite game I had a role that could investigate either alignment or their role. They had already claimed miller so I wanted to verify, but I accidentally asked for alignment. I frantically sent "I meant ROLE NOT ALIGNMENT to the mod. In a fit of what was admittedly bastard modding, he replied to my first PM with a "Town" result, which made me question the miller claim, but then he saw my second PM and told me "Miller".

Sometimes I hope I get NK'd in games so I won't have to deal with them anymore.

i usually have secondary goals for a game that i want to accomplish in addition to my wincon, such as win without making the game unfun for other players.

That should be a secondary goal for everyone.

I would interpret "simplifying the game" as shooting scumspects that aren't likely to get lynched, or whose lynch if Town would waste a Day Phase. This would be targets such as lurkers or players everyone susepcts but nobody is voting.

^I'd do that if there was no target with a clear benefit to the Town overall.

Also, if there were multiple people whose death would benefit Town, I'd kill the one I personally think is more likely to be scum.

I think I've lied twice as Town my whole time here.

Once was more a not-the-whole-truth lie where I kept my 4th JOAT ability a secret as part of a planned LyLo gambit, and ultimitely misread a reaction and cost Town the game.

The second time someone asked the classicly bad question "What alignment are you?" so I decided to troll and made up the craziest fakeclaim ever. This one was meant to be an obvious joke but so many people believed it that I just went with it. It factored into one of the scum groups both killing me and roleblocking me N1. I was a VT.

I've had bad experience with lurkers as scum. It seems like every time I near endgame and try pushing a lurker slot they pick up their activity and obvTown it up for everyone.

Serious confession: I was once specifically sought out by a player to replace into their slot and didn't realize it until I was already in the game. I never said anything for a few reasons and that player that sought me out has since been permabanned for other reasons.
