I just finished a 13/4 as wolf and was basically melting down and going nuts for like 2.5 weeks straight. The main difference between that and other wolf games was it lasted longer

There was a time when I /in and replaced into every game I could. I had like over 10 ongoing games and most of them were 50+ pages in when I replaced. It took me so much time that I lost sleep and rl time while I couldn't even keep up. I played terribly and my life actually almost went down the drain. I left this site for a few months just in time to save it. How's that for stress?

Now I'm back hoping history doesn't repeat itself.

Well mafia caused my grades to tank on no less than two occasions. First in 2010 when I was an idiot in every way possible (a period many still remember for good reason and some insist hasn't changed, though it has; now I'm only an idiot in MOST ways! ), and then during whatever year Tales of You was because fuck that game. Seriously fuck it so hard. I gave it 200% and all I had to show for it was my slot mislynched while calling most of the scumteam correctly.

I get stressed as scum way more than town. I fret over everything that is said as scum, and how it will be perceived. You also know every chink in your armor, even though town typically overlooks

. But there lies the other issue of fearing how you will be perceived in the future and not just the present. So the main issue is just the time it takes to post and feel somewhat secure in what I post at night when I have other chores I could be doing.

While there are some remote feelings when town, I simply care more about solving the game than people mis-perceiving me. Maybe some slight stress as a power-role. However as town, I have a bit more of an addiction to the game that is not as prevalent when scum. So at worst the only impact it has on me is maybe silently checking in to often while on the job. Least that is what it use to be. it has diminished a good deal since my college years.

Best thing to do is not over-dedicate yourself when you have important priorities at hand or coming up. I know my limit is one game at a time, and that keeps me sane. (for the most part )
