These are Some of My Favorite Things Mafia
No, nothing to do with The Sound of Music, that's a different mafia.
This game would be a derivation of UPick, but with some difference in concepts.
Each player, possibly a 15 player theme game, would submit 3 of their favorite things to the moderator. The moderator would then create a role for only 1 of these favorite things, and assign it to a different player. I still have to work out of there would be any other dynamics to the game, but this is all idea form at the moment. Does anyone else have some ideas?- stark

Rap Battle Mafia
Players: ~20
Each player starts with a certain amount of "cheese", and has a street cred ranking of "Punk".
Street Cred Dynamics
This means that all night actions performed by a player have only a 50% chance of succeeding. The Ranking system is as follows:
Poser-0%
Phony-20%
Punk-50%
Playa'- 75%
Pimp-100%
A player may increase their Street Cred by Rap Battling other players. There may be five battles per day. A player may challange another player to a Rap Battle in one of two modes: Fo' Cheese or Fo' Realz. In a Fo' Cheese battle, each player wages a certain amount of cheese on their victory. The winner collects the wagered cheese, while the loser must forfeit it. Should you win a Fo' Cheese battle, your Street Cred will increase by one rank, and should you lose a Fo' Cheese battle, your rank will decrease by one rank as well
In a Fo' Realz battle, the losing player is killed, and the winning player collects all of the cheese of the now dead losing player. Should you win a Fo' Realz battle, your rank will increase by two.
Street Cred is public knowledge.
Cheese
Each player starts the game with a certain amount of cheese. Cheese can be used to purchase certain items that endow a player with a one shot ability (I haven't quite worked out the proper pricing yet)
Da Newest Pair a Nikes- Wit deez Nikes, you can jump some dumbass, and search through his shit (Cop powers)
Mr. T. Starter Kit- Should you flash your bling at a player, they will be so impressed by it, that they will immediately forget any injury they have sustained during said night (Doc Powers)
Drugs- Become a dealer for the night, and get a certain player with a terrible case of the munchies, rendering them useless for the night. (Roleblocker Powers)
Diamond Studded Glock- Bust a Cap in a fellow players ass with this decorative firearm. (Vig Powers)
Binoculizzles- Purchace the Binoculizzles, and you may follow the actions of a homie. (Tracker Powers)
Should a player win a rap battle, they may choose to produce a record, which will result in them receiving some cheese. The more battles one wins, the more records one can produce.
Cheese is not public knowledge.
Rap Battling
During a rap battle, each player must submit a rap in which they dis their opponent in no less than eight lines. Should they fail to do so, they choke, and subsequently lose the battle.
Due to setup secrecy, I cannot quite reveal how battles will be judged, but in my mind it works rather well. What I am planning to do is to, after receiving the rhyme, record an actual track in which I will recite the rhymes in question over a funky beat. I will also create a simple-ass flash animation to join it, and then post the completed video on YouTube, and provide the thread with a link
Any thoughts?- stark

That's what genocide is for, comrade Rishi. So that people can laugh at it later. If everyone was serious and shit about it, genocide might actually look like an acceptable way of doing things. But if genocide gets you laughed at, peer pressure wins and there will be no more genocides.Rishi wrote:

That sounds awesome, man. Is that the pony for the game, though, or were you thinking of other roles surrounding that dynamic? The Fonz wrote:Anyone like the sound of:
Despotmaker?
Like Presidentmaker, only once a President is elected, he stays in office until either nightkilled, or a majority (possibly a supermajority, need to think about balance) of the other players vote for a revolution in a secret ballot(which results in the President's death and a new set of elections). - stark
