I haven't played in since Adel's hydra experiments but I'm coming back for geezer mafia.

I stayed away from playing mafia for a bit over 6 months. It was a needed break and I'm glad to be back and playing again.

Future me has already contacted me so I know I won't fail. Future me will/did make arrangements to be in that game. I wish I would tell me what my new account is. I have been nothing but vague in the emails I have recieved from me. Without a doubt though me is pokerface. So things should go well for myself

People like - Farside, Adel, Oman if he is desperate for a replacement, pet jellys. would consider but as I decided not to enter pjs game, its not a clear cut yes.

I gradually got less enthusiastic about mafia until I took a break for a couple weeks, then came back and put all my effort into one game for a couple months. That game was the essentially unwinnable AoaDa, which I won a scummy for and pretty much single-handedly killed any interest in mafia; not such a good trade.

Talking about mafia is a hundred times more interesting than actually playing it; and playing is now torture, since I don't put the work in to play and know how terrible I am. I kind of want to IC a bit for the sake of it, but all told I feel a lot like I'm done.

I've only recently started playing again. I pretty much only mod now. However when a game arises that I have a special interest in I'm up for it.

After the games I'm in are over, I'm only going to mod.

I keep telling myself I'm not playing any more, and I still tell myself that as I continue sign up to replace into games directly after I finish something "big" in life.

It seems like I don't play mafia until I've gotten in the habit of being busy all the time, and then all of a sudden the thing that was keeping me busy is finished. Approximately twenty-four hours after I sign up for a game, I am then hit will the full stupidity of my action.

I still consider myself "retired" with the occasional cameo appearance.

TDC and Mr. Stoofer (who will make a return since it is the year of the Tiger) and Korts and Mr. Flay are the only mods whose theme games I'm currently willing to play in. I'm a whore for semi-open games though.

Only playing one game at a time and giving myself permission to replace out if the other players are too unpleasant has kept me playing. It was like a revelation for me to discover that I don't have to play games with shitty teenagers with enormous attitude problems. I was taking the "treat this game as a commitment" meme a bit too seriously and found myself burning out.

I'm trying to quit, but new games keep coming up, so I probably never will. I've slowed down quite a bit though.

Yeah I've prescreened by playerlist for ages precisely because of this.

D'aww. Can't believe that I've never played a whole game Modded by you, and probably can't do your next one because I'm going to be away in July again (or did you say it was along the lines of a BaM ruleset?). Pity.

I'm still playing . . . though I'm only in one game and signed up for one, due to being busy, as per the norm. I've compensated by unleashing my little sister on the site, though .

I actually just made the ruleset (basically my old one, but I brought in the BaM fast-game/no replacements/modkill lurkers aspects) and there will be no days longer than 10 days. Day 1 is a 10 day deadline and all other days are 5-7 day deadlines depending on the number of remaining players.

Basically, assuming it starts before June, I don't think you'll have to worry about July. To be on the safe side, I'd say anything before late May and you'll be fine.

On topic: I've slowed down my amount of games. Used to be in like, 12 at a time, but now I'm in about 4 or 5.
